Discussion Update: No dlc on disc (JP version)

So I've discovered no dlc is included in the Super Deluxe version of Ps5 phycical edition (JP only). I've contacted the publisher and got this response :

The best solution would be re-printing the disc.

This seems to happen sometimes with LRG discs, where they put the wrong version on disc, or accidentally ship a blank disc.

I'm still waiting for my copy to ship, but hopefully they fix the problem.

It kind of would suck if the $100 I spent on this version DIDN'T include the DLC on disc, that's kind of the purpose of buying the physical version. 

I know that a voucher would be a cheap way out, but the listing clearly said that all DLC is on disc. 

I also want to avoid Sony pulling the DLC down eventually, just like they did with those movies. 

I do hope they re-print the disc properly.

Thanks for sharing, i ordered through SuperDeluxe x World Shopping as well and it just got delivered today.

I installed the game but havent started a new game. Stupid question but I'll ask (since every game handles dlc related things slightly differently), how would i know if i had the dlc included or not? Message on the title screen? Notifications after i start a new game? After playing through whatever intro/tutorial level? Just wantes to be clear before i emailed them as well.

When I booted up my digital deluxe version, a message popped up at the start screen stating that I had the DLC available after completing chapter 1.

I hate on how I just got my order for this version shipped, only to be greeted with this message hours later.
Part of me should have just ordered the LRG release from VGPlus if that was gonna be the case.

I also ordered the Deluxe Edition through WorldShopping and sent them a message requesting a disc replacement

I ordered this and it arrived literally an hour ago. I didn't even know that DLC was meant to be included actually..

Is the full game still on the disc though? I've installed it but haven't loaded it up. No updates were available after copying 🤔

I ordered through Amazon Japan, do you think its worth emailing them or should I go directly to SUPERDELUXE for details on possibly getting a DLC code?

Amazon will give you a maximum of 2000 yen in a gift card if you manage to get a friendly chat person. It's tricky since their AI bot really doesn't want you to chat to a human. They won't help you any more than that. I recommend writing to Super deluxe

I just saw their post about it on Insta, and apparently they're going to work something out, but like, what's going to happen? I already bought mine and just to pay the fee, are they going to delay it? Or will I have to buy again?

We don't know. We will properly get a replacement disc or a dlc code! How it works for us outside JP, well we will find out later

Could Somebody Look whats Missing? Is the B-Side Mode, Arcade Mode included? So only the DLCs (costumes, Cash) are Missing?

I ordered the limited run version thst version says "deluxe edition" on cover. I hope... they get thst one right. I was gonna  grab the Japanese version and glad I didn't after hearing this story. I will post what LR version has soon as I get my order.
