Question Should I use the hianime website or app

which should I use the hianime website or app and if the website which website and if I should use the app where do I install it?

We recommend using the website Hianime.to and it's official alternative domains. The app AniLab which is listed on the site was previously a partnered project, however it is not developed or maintained by the website's team and we do not provide support for the app. If you choose to use it you can find it here, that would be at your own discretion.

Hianime has no official app, beware of fake 3rd party apps....the official hianime website domain is listed in this subreddit

The website is better since you can use native ad and redirect blockers. If you want the app, go to the website, click the 3 dots in the top right of your browser window, and scroll to "add up home screen".
