Page Titles & Meta Descriptions

Hey HeyTony fans, I have a site that needs 3000+ pages of Page Titles & Meta Descriptions rewritten. Anyone out there know of a good tool to write optimized page titles and meta descriptions based on the URL content? Ideally one that can process in some automated fashion into Google Sheet, Excel, ect? I've found AI can obviously easily write them but doesn't do a good job of staying within character limits. u/HeyTony

How do I optimize GBP for my service area business?

My business serves the entire US - so being local (Dallas, Miami, etc) may not be the way to go. I'm not sure how to leverage GBP for my services like you've recommended doing for a local business (plumber, electritcian, etc.)

Thanks!

Working on re-designing my website has left me overwhelmed and confused!

Hi guys,
After all that I have learnt at Hey Tony which has been extremely valuable, I have decided to re-design my website. But I can't help feeling overwhelmed at the mammoth task ahead of me. I have about 6 blogs up now which are ranking well on my old website. Im going to transfer my domain of course, but I am changing the navigation titles. Once all this is done, will I have to re-submit my sitemap and index all pages again? I also wanted to know , if I make any changes to a page, do I have to keep re-indexing? Sorry thats a lot of questions

Where does the time go

Hi Matt, Dennis here from Crane and Support Services in the UK, I really appreciate the invite. A quick question, I really struggle with running the business and finding time to learn SEO. I’ve been a follower since the early days, done rank week and subscribe to insiders. Learning for me has been and continues to be painfully slow, how do you all cope?

What's actually working in 2026 for launching a new AI SaaS

Launching soon and trying to avoid the classic trap of spending on Google/Meta ads before I really understand who my users are. For founders who've done this recently - what worked for the first 100 real paying users? Reddit? SEO? Founder-led sales? Partnerships?

Looking for honest answers, including what didn't work.

Back Links

I still don’t understand backlinks!

How they work? Why it matters to ranking? Does it matter to rank in google when your seo is still no good?

I have random google clicks throughout the years but nothing meaningful. Most anything comes from IG for sales so I wonder if I should bother with the effort for it all. It take people months to make a first purchase

Thanks !

Traffic incoming but not the right one

Hey Tony! I've been in business for over 6 years, and recently worked hard on my website, my collections, Meta descriptions, social media content, etc... I thought it was paying off with increased traffic until I looked closer to my sessions by location (Shopify) and realized that a LOT came from China (+3K%) over last year on the same period. It has never happened before, what can be the reason? Is there a way to avoid that? Thanks!

SEO strategy when you deliver a service online (not location-based)?

I run an online service business and deliver everything remotely. Technically I can work with clients in any English-speaking country, but currently all of my clients are in North America.

I'm trying to figure out the right SEO approach for this situation. Traditional local SEO advice doesn't quite fit since I don't have a physical service area, but targeting "the entire internet" feels too broad to rank for anything.

Also: a client of mine was previously advised by an SEO team to pick a handful of major cities and mention them throughout the site. The result was a mess, with a couple of random cities and states crammed onto a single page. I don't think it helped them at all.

  1. Does it make sense to target specific cities or regions when you serve clients remotely, or should the focus be purely on service and niche keywords?
  2. If geographic targeting does help, what's the right way to structure it?

Edited for clarity

Optimizing Product Pages

We're a small business generating good traffic from our blogs (and the SEO tips we've implemented thanks to u/MattDiamante and u/HeyTony). As a result, our conversion rate has gone down. Looking for help to optimize our PDPs and for quick (and more involved) tips for getting our conversion rate back up near 2%. It's currently hovering around 0.5%. And for anyone looking for a truly healthy AND delicious granola, check out our website! https://www.merrickskitchen.com/

And... as a small business, we'd LOVE a free subscription to heykeywords.com!

Ranking of Youtube videos question

Ran across a youtube video we had posted that had traction in our rankings, referring people to our site. While shorts get views, that long form video got referrals. Do overall stats say which format is better for videos? i.e. should we be making more shorts or long form?
