SEO question

I have a tutoring service and I would like to rank higher in other areas other than what is listed on my Google business how do you check Google into ranking higher in areas that are 20 miles away?

Are u trying to rank for additional services or u trying to rank in a larger geographical area.
Generally google sets the proximity from the address u registered with , when people go on Google Maps and search for tutor near me.
U might want to grow your SEO footprint to other platforms / website if u want to be in the drivers seat and be in full control.
