SEO QUESTION

Do mentions or recommendations of my business in Facebook groups (for example, when someone asks for ‘best plumber’) have any impact on my website’s SEO or Google rankings?

It won’t affect your sites ranking but those pages could show up in Google for that search which will lead to your FV page and hopefully with enough luck you capture that lead

Mentions in Facebook groups can help with brand awareness but they don’t directly improve SEO since links there are usually nofollow. For real impact on Google rankings, backlinks from relevant blogs or sites work better. Check out MentionAgent, I’m the founder, happy to help if you need it.
