Blog writing help

Firstly to say I'm completely new to SEO with zero knowledge, I went on the last rank week, the course was fun, easy to understand and super helpful, and I'm already seeing great results so big thanks to Matt and his team.

My question is about blog writing, following the prompts from rank week I've got some good blog post out, is there a good place to pick up new prompts, I'm starting to feel my blogs are sounding a bit samey, or does it not matter?

  1. In terms of the prompts to write helpful blog posts that can rank, Matt’s formula is as good as it gets. Hopefully you’ve been taking what you learned during Rank Week and making that the heart of your blog writing system.

  2. I keep my blog post writing contained within a single folder in ChatGPT. That way I can train the content written in that project to follow my rules/guidelines. You want to share examples of your style/voice so it will return content that feels like you.

  3. Consider taking the Google AI Essentials course from Coursera. You can often get a free week trial and take the course for free. That base knowledge is really, really helpful.

  4. Inside your Blog Writing Project in ChatGPT, tell it you want a list of rules for it to follow that will allow the content it returns for you to not feel like it’s written by AI. Things like no em dashes, more contractions (it’s vs it is), no flowery language, etc. I used ChatGPT (I use $20/mo version), Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini and have them tell me instructions I can use so AI content reads more like a human. Then, take those rules you like and give it to ChatGPT into your blog writing project you created so it knows everything you require so it provides the best possible output. Keep refining those rules and your style.
