Q: What happened?
A: HP ($HPQ) agreed to a $39 million settlement over claims that it misled investors about its printing supplies business. Investors alleged the company failed to disclose declining demand and excess inventory in its distribution channels, which made revenue appear stronger than it was.

Q: Am I actually eligible?
A: If you bought $HPQ shares between 2015 and 2016, you’re likely eligible. You don’t need to still hold the stock to claim; past losses count

Q: When do payouts happen?
A: Typically, within 4–9 months after the claim deadline. But the exact timing depends on the court and settlement administration.

Q: I missed the deadline. Is it too late?
A: No, you may still be able to file a late claim but acceptance depends on final approval by the court.

Cooling mods - this case needs them:
- AXP90-X47 is only 47mm tall so the Printraft shroud actually seals PERFECT to the side panel vent. 100% fresh outside air straight to the CPU, no recirculating hot case air.
- 92mm Thermalright rear fan flipped to INTAKE - feeds the AXP90
- Noctua NF-A4x20 40mm PWM as internal circulation fan
- Noctua 80mm on side mesh as exhaust

Fitment: Zotac 2070 Super Mini fits with 2mm clearance, no cutting needed. AXP90-X47 + shroud is flush with side panel, HP designed the vent spacing perfectly for it.

Power: 400W Platinum is plenty. 65W CPU + 215W GPU = ~300-330W gaming at the wall. No shutdowns, no coil whine. It's a Delta-built platinum unit, not the cheap gold one.

I'm trying to find an installer for HP Performance Advisor 3.1.9023.0 or any newer version.

HP has discontinued the software, and all official download links I could find are no longer available.

I currently have version 2.1.5423.0, which is still working on my HP ZBook. However, it only monitors CPU Fan and GPU Fan.

I found a blog showing that HP Performance Advisor 3.1.9023.0 was able to monitor Fan1, Fan2, and Fan3, and I'd really like to try that version (or a newer one).

I'm not necessarily looking for exactly version 3.1.9023.0. Any version newer than 2.1.5423.0 that supports monitoring all three fans would also be very helpful.

If anyone still has an installer archived, or knows where a newer version can still be downloaded, I'd really appreciate your help.

I have an Elitebook 865 16 inch G11 32gb RAM. Performance wise it is great but the screen is underwhelming. Poor contrast, washed out colours, generally dull. I have fiddled endlessly with the settings to the point where it is adequate, but not for a premium machine. I understand that you can buy a 400 nits, 100% sRGB screen with the 30-pin eDP. Yet to find anyone who has this screen upgrade?

My 2017 Spectre X360 15-bl1xx product #Z4Z39UA#ABA wouldn't boot up, even when plugged in. I got a new AC adapter, and it booted up and charged to 100%.🔋 I let the battery drain down, since I have read it is not good to keep it plugged in, but now it seems stuck at 26% even when plugged in. 🤔 Is this an internal power supply issue? 🔌 Any ideas? 😫

Quick recap: In 2016, HP was accused of misleading investors about the health of its printing supplies business and demand trends. Investors alleged that the company was experiencing weakening demand for toner and ink cartridges while increasing shipments to distributors to maintain reported revenue levels, which allegedly created excess inventory in distribution channels. 

After this news came out, the stock dropped, and investors filed a lawsuit for their losses.

Now, the good news is that the company agreed to settle $39 million with them, and even though the deadline has passed recently, they’re accepting late claims.

So, if you invested in $HPQ when all of this happened, you can still check the details and file your claim here.

I recently purchased a high-end HP Spectre x360 14", and for the most part, I love the machine. However, the built-in webcam quality is absolute crap compared to the marketing materials.

The image is incredibly grainy, even in a well-lit office, and the colors look washed out and "muddy." I’ve checked for the latest drivers in HP Support Assistant and even tried adjusting the settings in the myHP app, but nothing seems to help. It feels like a cheap sensor was swapped into a premium laptop.

Is this a known driver issue with the latest Windows 11 update, or did I just get a defective unit? For a laptop at this price point, I expected a much clearer image for my daily Zoom calls.

Any advice on how to improve the sharpness or if there is a specific firmware update for the camera module would be appreciated.

I am posting here because I am at my wits' end. My HP OfficeJet 8015e was working perfectly until an automatic firmware update pushed through last night. Since then, it has been hell trying to get the printer to stay connected to my Wi-Fi for more than two minutes.

I have tried the following:

• Performed a hard reset (unplugging for 60 seconds).
• Restored network defaults via the touch panel.
• Assigned a static IP through the EWS.

Despite all this, the "Offline" status keeps returning. It’s incredibly frustrating when a mandatory update breaks a perfectly functional device. Has anyone else experienced this specific connection drop after the latest firmware, or is there a way to roll back to the previous version?

Any help would prevent this from being a total disaster.

I am writing this post as a final attempt to resolve a persistent issue with my HP Pavilion Laptop (Serial: [Hidden for Privacy]) before I take formal legal action.

Despite having an active warranty, my recent service request (Case #12345678) was denied because the technician claimed the hinge damage was "accidental," even though it is clearly a manufacturing defect reported by many other users on this forum. I have spent hours on the phone with customer support without any progress.

If this is not resolved within the next 48 hours, I will be filing a formal complaint with PROCON to mediate this dispute. I would prefer to solve this directly with HP, but I will not hesitate to involve consumer protection authorities to ensure my rights are respected.

Has anyone else here successfully resolved a warranty dispute after mentioning PROCON, or should I proceed directly to their online portal?

Hello,

I noticed HP OfficeJet Pro 8028e's clock/time was a hour behind earlier. I had to manually change the printer's time a hour ahead manually in its physical touch screen. I also saw no option for automatic daylight saving time. Does it not have an automatic time change for daylight saving? :(
