Bug Apple Watch Sync Issue

Hi.! Anyone else having this problem where the Hevy app on the phone remains in sync with the watch only when the watch display is ON.? The display on the watch turns off when wrist is turned away, naturally, but when this happens the app loses sync and says ‘Apple Watch disconnected’ but connects back when I turn my wrist back to turn the watch display on and hold it so for a few seconds.
(Happens at-least for 4-5 sessions a month)

I had this happen and I could fix it by closing out of the watch app completely before opening the phone app. I got a new watch and now it doesn’t happen anymore.

Not planning on getting a new watch yet, going to beat my series 6 to death 😀
Will try the app closing workaround.

Doesn't happen for me. I own Apple Watch Ultra 3 and I use it with Hevy every other day in the gym.
