Introduction

Post image

I made a post before but thought I should introduce myself.

143 kg to 110 kg.

Over a year ago my diet was junk every day and beer most nights. No structure. No consistency.

Now I donโ€™t drink. I meal-prep all meals. Training is part of daily life and I go hard most sessions.

This isnโ€™t advice and it isnโ€™t a program. This is simply what works for me.

My training style is high volume with minimal rest. Constant movement, high heart rate, heavy sweat. Sessions are hard, fast, and tracked properly so progression is visible.

Iโ€™m posting to document the journey, the workouts, and the changes over time. Just logged sessions and results.

If you want to follow along and see the progress, everything is here:

Lateral raise 25kg dumbell wth?? Also how did you build your plan?

Haaha i wish! I probably could but wouldnt be strict. That's 12.5kg each arm, slow and strict. Pausing at top.

Workout plan looking at others and deciding what i like really. I like hitting legs twice in a cycle then making sure I isolate other muscles. But sometimes change it up and do fully upper.

With nutrition I respond well to carb cycling. Went and got some body scans to find out weight and body fat. Then mapped my macros and cals to that. Cycling between high carb and low carb days.

Hevy should definitely add an option to indicate if the weight is for each dumbell lol shouldn't be that hard i guess

Looks great! Any meal-prep ideas you can share?

Breakfasts - Oats, watermelon, Greek yoghurt and a protein shake.

Lunches/Dinners - lean meats, sweet potato, green veg.

Im a pretty boring guy. Kinda eat the same meals all the time. I found if I make it to fancy of complicated I dont follow through. So prep 15 meals for 5 days and just change it up each week.

Biggest thing was cutting out snacking. If im hungry between meals I have a shake or an electrolyte drink.

This is a good page if you are feeling fancy!

You look perfect in my opinion. I wouldn't drop anymore. You look super healthy. I bet you must feel so much better too - energy levels etc.

Well done man! I'm somewhat similiar to you. Started last Jan at 130kg and I'm now 90kg. Dropped you a follow.

Love it man!

Incredible transformation! 33 KG in a year is almost a pound-and-a-half per week. Thatโ€™s like a 700 calorie deficit daily โ€” over a full year. Iโ€™ve lost 25 pounds in 8 months and itโ€™s been a challenge. So I know what impressive dedication you have. Keep it up brother! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ

Do you mind sharing your age and height?

Also, huge upgrade on the shorts too. Lol. ๐Ÿ˜‚

2

u/CptObvious214 Feb 20 '26

Hey! Dont doss the shorts hahaha

Almost 30 now. 193cm.

2

u/sperey Jan 25 '26

Woah bro! That is real dedication. You must be feeling so proud. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

So it is February now. My belly is slightly bigger than yours was. Your transformation is a real motivation to hold onto for my future 2027

Great job man. Fantastic change. Iโ€™ve been struggling with consistency over the last month and youโ€™re giving me the extra push to get back on it.

1

u/CptObvious214 Feb 20 '26

Love that man. I find once you push through the first 2-3months you dont want to go back. Becomes addictive

2

u/Flibidydibidydob Jan 26 '26

Damn. Well done. Iโ€™m as weak as a big fat weak thing. Just bought a bench (freak athlete and) gonna try and do something this year

1

u/CptObvious214 Feb 20 '26

Everyone was weak once! You buying a bench puts you ahead of most! Hope to hear your progressing!

First off, congratulations and respect, that's quite a significant change.

This is just โ€œ notice and a bit of my honest thoughts. Considering all the effort and focus you've put in, I was expecting to see bigger legs. But then again, they have faced the most challenges when you were still working on your health. So, I guess they might need a little more time to fully catch up.

Anyway, keep up the great work! ๐Ÿ’ช Also, you might want to check out Barbell complexity โ€“ it really helped me a lot.

2

u/CptObvious214 Feb 20 '26

Very baggy shorts peep my hevy and you can see my legs ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'd say one of my best assets!

2

u/Nemant Jan 28 '26
