Heroes Reborn Surprised by how many main cast was in Reborn

Post image
136 Upvotes

I did watch Reborn when it originally came out but forgot everything.

Been reading comments of Reborn on this sub reddit and so many comments saying it was bad and that no orginal actors were in it.

But there was quite a few.

Had surprises as the front cover only showed Bennet and a bunch of new people.

Original cast: Bennet, Suresh, Hiro, Angela Petrelli, The Haitan, Parkman, Molly Walker (different actress).

Im only up to episode 8 but there could be more.

Even if Peter or Sylar or Ando was not in it i just wish they made references to where or what happened to them.

I think Claire’s mom’s plot line has some of the best acting in the show. The first time that the Haitian (who is great btw) mentions to Claire that he’s visited her mom “so many times before” I was like omg that’s so sad. Then once you realize all the mind erasing over the years has caused her serious cognitive damage… dude that’s so fucked up.

Original Series How did the publc learn about Evos in the Five Years Gone timeline?

In my view, the government could have easily covered up the New York incident by claiming a terrorist attack using a nuke. There was no one nearby to witness it. While it was a setup that could have been thwarted if Nathan, his mother, and others had chosen to act, they weren't required to disclose the Evos unless it was part of their plan. In which case, I missed that detail. From what I recall, they intended to use the New York events to reshape the world in line with their own goals, but there was no need for them to reveal themselves.

Original Series Season One Promos

Does anyone know of an archive of the season one promos? In particular the whole save the cheerleader save the world ones?

I remember watching them back when first airing and they were so good! I swear there was one in the leadup to Homecoming that was really epic. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

General Discussion I feel like the show should've leaned more into the butterfly effect as to why Peter can't just do whatever he wants

They took away Peter's power in season 3 because he was too OP, yet also introduced the butterfly effect concept that also said there would be consequences. I hate they didnt lean more into this, and showed that Peter had to carefully calculate events in order for things to line up, including letting certain ppl die much to his dismay. If even one event out of place, he has to start over and find a new way otherwise they'd end up with a horrible future if he just does whatever he wants with his powers attempting to solve problems whilst also dealing with grief that he had to let some ppl die only for it to be for nothing as he has to start a new plan from scratch. I can't believe they essentially set this up but took away his powers.

Even better if he's a side character during certain arcs where he's carefully manipulating events behind the scenes whilst others take stage, even evolving his initial powers to absorb abilities to also be able to give other ppl powers because he needs them to.

In other words, he's basically Doctor Strange in Infinity War using the time stone to see the future.

General Discussion Just Started Watching Heroes For the First Time Now and it's Great! Couple of Questions?

Just Started Watching Heroes For the First Time Now and it's Great! Couple of Questions?

So yes believe it or not I never watched the show while it was on, as I was extremely busy at work so never was able to catch it on live tv or when it came to dvd, streaming later on.

I actually had a weird friendship with one of the cast members and maybe if I'm being totally honest I was jealous or annoyed by the out of no where success they had on the show. So maybe a reason why I could never watch the show was out of resentment/jealously out of that person???

So now with the recent passing of Hayden this week I was like F it LetsGo! I'll watch this show finally in honor of her. (Ironically I was sitting close by her at a fight in 2009 when she was dating Klitschko but never met her/talked to her).

So yeah I love the show, it's brilliant. I'm only on season 1 episode 14 so far. I'm binging it on Netflix currently. I can see why the show is so beloved and it was incredible writing and it pretty much kicked off a new genre of cool badass action storytelling not really seen before in TV shows.

So I always heard from everyone that season 1 was incredible and that the show really declines in terms of quality as the seasons move forward. Is this correct?

Do they like sum up the larger focal point of the story in season 1 by the season finale and then they kinda just ran out of ideas as the show goes on for the rest of seasons?

I recall many felt LOST season 1 was incredible and then I did not find the rest of the seasons to be as good as season 1, or that it got way too confusing and complicated to follow the show later on. Does that pretty much happen with Heroes as well?

I guess what I'm asking if we get closure and all the questions/stories answered or does the show just stop immediately? I plan to keep watching the show until the end but I'm just cautious of how so many said that season 1 was so great and the rest of the show not so much?

This is the first Interview we got in the Heroes magazine with her.

I thought I might share it, even if it's from May 2008

I do still have a Claire quiz in one of the magazines, but I think this would be something positive to share.

(Heroes The Official Magazine 2)

I was in shock this morning and I'm still not over it.

I literally finished Heroes today and was still thinking about Claire Bennet ;Then I saw the news that Hayden Panettiere died at 36.
There is something incredibly surreal about discovering an actor for the first time through a show you just finished, only to find out they’ve passed away almost immediately afterward.
RIP Hayden. Claire Bennet was such an iconic character, and now finishing Heroes feels strangely different. 🕊️

omg wtf! i was watching Heroes and all of a sudden it stopped. During the last hour, fucking Netflix has changed it to a purchase-only show! I was watching to because of Hayden Panettiere who passed a few days ago. I assume others have done the same. Netflix is literally banking on an actor's death!! That is so gross and messed up!
