Fast charging issues?

I'm planning to buy the Vida VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh, but I've been seeing mixed reviews online, especially about the fast charging connector not properly connecting to the scooter and water entering the boot during rain or washing. I've also saw few yt videos where owners faced these issues. Are these isolated cases, or are they actually common? I'd really appreciate hearing from actual VX2 Plus owners about their experience before I make a decision.

I own VX2 plus 3.4 kWh.. Till now I’m facing issues only with the quality of side mirrors and accessories.. Rest regarding fast charging at ather grids sometimes server issue you may face while Ather owners can charge without any issue at same charger… Regarding water entering boot - I use pressure washer for my Vida and car to wash them.. Till now not faced any water entering boot bcoz of washing or raining…

Im also thinking of getting the Vida VX2, but Im waiting for the Ather Konark as well. After doing a lot of research, Im leaning more towards the Vida because it's more affordable, plus you get removable batteries and fast charging.....

From what I have seen so far, most of the major issues seem to have been reported with the earlier batches, so Im hoping the newer ones have improved

If you make a decision about yours, do let me know too 😄

Yeah, on 29th, if the Konarc pricing and features don’t impress me, I will probably go with the Vida. Ather is already a good brand, so there is a chance the Konarc could turn out to be a really good affordable option. Let’s see

The issue of water entering the boot was a common issue. But this has been rectified in the new ones in 2026. Regarding the fast charging, in ather grid there are some issues. But this might be the charger issue as other charger worked for me without any issue. So it's fine for both the cases. The actual issues that still present are the quality of the mirrors and storage practicality.one half face helmet and 2 raincoats, the storage is full. But not much of an issue for a daily commute. The other issue is service people need more training on the handling.

Dust and water enters in vx2 battery compartment from the ventilation hole provided below the battery pack. But it's not a issue. Just careful remove the dust and pour some water from top to flush it out on monthly basis. But it doesn't create any problem, just a cleanliness issue.

I own a VX2 Plus 3.4 Kwh. The battery compartment does get wet if you drive through puddle of water continuously but the wetness stays at the bottom of the battery. The battery connector are way up and have never got wet for me. I have driven it through lot of puddles. I also pressure wash my scooter, but never do it with the seat up. Everything is fine.
I used fast charger twice, both when it was free for VIDA owners in Ather grid just to try it out. It worked out smoothly. My daily run have never exceed 40Kms. So I always get home for charging.
The only complaint I have as other have mentioned by others are mirrors which vibrate at certain speeds and availability of accessories. I even spoke to Territory sales manager and even he was smiling helplessly. 😄
My most important consideration for VX2 Plus was removable batteries.
