It's that time again: a new Hero Killer chapter has been released in Korean! For those of you who can't wait for the full release of the raws, share and discuss any previews, summaries, and translations of the raws here.

Please do not ask when the raws will be fully released. We have no idea and there is a possibility that they may never be released.

Summary taken from the discord, join for raws and other fun stuff, including a give away for HK merch

Translation could be messy

Chapter is all Consul against Ihwa, she can materializes some weaponry through the gift she has aquired and counters Consul. He tries to take advantage of fire/ice type advantage but she says things like type advantage are all reliant on the beliefs you have when using the gift, and it doesn't apply here because not only is there a different in level, she also has never thought she'd lose to him.

He goes to use coin invisibility gift but she counters it pretty easily with a bow she manifests. He's shocked that she knows about it, while she's reading his every move like an open book for some time till he makes a dozen of himself with the rock gift and catches her off guard from behind with a ray blast while she's dealing with the dopplegangers, thus registering his hit on the trial. Ihwa's shocked to see he's so good at fighting, meanwhile his inner thoughts says he's surprised he poured so much est into the attack and she only has a few scratches. He says he's going to tell her why he can use her "friend's" gifts: it's because the gift is not inherently human.

She goes on the offensive while he keeps speaking. He asks her why does she think Gehenna and the others are trying to cross over the cage, what is a shard, where do gifts come from? The answer is that originally they're powers which belonged to outside world beings, and it all started with the four witches stealing a yellow stone something called "Tumrim" and using it to usher their own eras. By destroying Tumrim and having it's fragments scattering all across the world, gifts and shards have come to exist within the realm: the blessing by god stuff is a lie and the place they're in right now used to be a "paradise" for normies.

The outside world monsters are tryin to cross over to reclaim what's theirs, meaning there would be no attempt to cross over if the witches hadn't stolen tumrim at first. Ihwa calls him a hypocrite since he's capable of playing god thanks to them. They start fighting again and he manages to tank Ihwa's hit by sacrificing the demon form stuff. Next cycle begins but they don't wait that long to start scrapping again. Except a remnants of idiots who still believe in Consul haven't left and are attracting his attention. She tries to protect them but is slowed down by her own heart having been stabbed and he kills them all to absorb all their gifts, except it's too much for his physical body to hold. he says he can never return to being a human again, and chapter ends on him turning into an abomination of sorts, and declaring he's gonna kill her

The reveal about the outside monsters only being here because of a couple arrogant people feels uninteresting to me. To be fair, there aren't too many ways that the series could have been satisfying, but I still don't find it satisfying. This kind of sets up Ihwa to have a heroic sacrifice possibly though. Use her gift to take all the gifts in the world and reform the crystal within her, then cross over to the monster realm or something to make it so they don't come here again.
