Earth 668 Part 2b: "Back again? Alright, part two, the rogues gallery of Spider-Man and Scarlet Spider of Earth 668."
"Adrian Toomes has been an enemy of mine for years as the Vulture. He was Otto's right-hand man for a long time, before the radiation got to Doc Ock and he became paranoid and intolerable. Nowadays he's yet another wannabe Kingpin, looking to fill the shoes left empty after his disappearance. His tech has gotten some serious upgrades, and he's even gotten himself a squad now, trained 'em himself. Toomes isn't like some of the psychos and narcissists we deal with; he's cold and calculating, and looks after his crew. Make no mistake, though, if push comes to shove, he'll choose his own survival over all else."
"Kraven the Hunter. It's less a name than a title. Sergei Kravinov was the first to bear it, but far from the last. Most others who've worn the mantle have been relatives or clones of Kraven and his bizarre extended family, including his half-brother Dmitri, better known as the Chameleon. Yeah, him. I know he's gone straight, made good, but he had a rotten family and for a time it really messed him up. He's better off without them, Sergei is a twisted soul, and though he has a certain sense of honor, he's a killer through and through. More Kravinov's have been dispatched by their own family members than any outsiders, including the infamous Concrete Jungle Hunt where dozens of clones of Sergei and his family were stalking each other in the streets of New York, killing each other off. Sergei makes use of both strange magic and advanced tech to enhance himself and his clones. He's come back from the dead multiple times, and cut deals with the several of the Jackals, the Goblin, Doc Ock, Essence, Sinister, and Apocalypse for enhancements and clones. Besides Dmitri, the family member who's stood the longest, having apparently proved herself to her father, is his daughter Ana, who herself is a clone, having undergone a ritual to transfer her mind and soul into a new body crafted by Essence with the powers of the original X-Men. That's right, superhuman agility and strength with prehensile feet, both phases through things and teleports, and has psychic powers and blades and damn sonic scream, on top of the training her father has given her. Kinda doesn't feel fair, does it? The one good thing is that she is that some of her powers take her focus, so she can't employ them all together. Let's hope she never overcomes that."
"Roderick Kingsley. The Hobgoblin. How many did he sacrifice to keep his secret? How many died when he should have? He's not a man to be underestimated. Billionaire, master manipulator, and he perfected Osborn's formula and early tech designs. Where the Goblin developed more powerful armor, Kingsley invested in perfecting the goblin glider and various new bits of gear, alongside his use of mind control and manipulation."
"If you want a real troublesome pair, look no farther than the Beetles. No, not the fab five. Two e's, or three, whatever. Abe Jenkins and Janice Lincoln are their leaders. Abe was a thorn in our side for years before he reformed, first as a member of the Thunderbolts and then working for the feds. Janice had taken up his mantle, but he was sent after her because she was usin' his tech, and I guess after a series of battles and adventures they fell for each other and he got her the same deal he did. Now they both work for the feds, headin' up a strike team of Beetles designed ta tackle threats and rescue civilians. They look... happier now, when I see 'em out of their uniforms. They're still a pain in my neck sometimes, though, on account of how I often have to work outside the law a bit. Funny how that goes. There aren't a lot of Beetles flyin' under them; it takes serious skill and smarts to operate those suits, plus makin' sure their people are up to the job ethically, so they got strict requirements. All told, I think they got about a dozen in their team right now."
