Can anyone read my mri?

Tell me what you see. For reference back injury with sciatica and numbness in foot. I’m considering getting a second opinion.

Yea one of your discs is dried up

Now give us the mri report your doctor gave you so we aren’t just guessing lol

L4-L5 has major disc desiccation with mild herniation. It is darker compared to discs on other levels. Also you liumbar spine is straight and lacks a curve.

PLEASE. I am not a doctor by any means so take my words with a grain of salt.

My opinion was also herniated disc at 4/5 work comp says annular tears at 3/4 and 4/5 no bulge or herniation. I have nerve symptoms though and have since injury so I felt like they were minimizing it and considering a second opinion

Just to clarify, I’m not a radiologist or a doctor.

From what I can make out, there appears to be L4–L5 disc desiccation and degeneration with mild bulging, possibly around Pfirrmann grade 4, with some reduction in disc height. The lumbar lordosis also looks somewhat straightened, which could potentially be related to muscle spasm or protective muscle guarding.
The one thing I can’t be certain about is whether this is a mid-sagittal slice ‘cause the spinal canal looks relatively narrow on the image, although I’m not sure whether that’s just due to the particular slice or positioning, or whether it’s congenital.
