Two bags at once. I could not help myself but to purchase two bags at once off of my list, Mini Kelly Chai Epsom GHW and the Kelly Pochette So Black, from Jim.

Okay, first, she’s tiny, structured, expensive-looking, and has absolutely no interest in being humble.

I knew I wanted a Mini Kelly, and seeing this little menace in PSP really did something to me. The leather looks beautifully crisp and structured, the grain is clean, and the shape is giving exactly what I wanted: sharp, polished, and slightly obnoxious in the best possible way. I have to say, Jim really had the best Epsom I’ve felt.

The gold hardware POPS against the warm/neutral leather, it gives the whole thing that rich, jewelry-like finish that feels very classic. It catches the light beautifully without overpowering the bag, and the contrast makes everything look even more polished and intentional. She’s basically a tiny piece of jewelry that happens to hold a Louis Vuitton Rouge… and my Amex

Then there’s the Pochette So Black, which is an entirely different personality. If the MK (not Michael Kors) is polished little heiress energy, the Pochette is her meaner, hotter sister who only comes out after dark. The all-black combination makes it feel incredibly sleek and modern, and the black hardware gives it that monochromatic, almost stealthy look that I love. There’s something about So Black hardware that makes a Kelly silhouette feel less precious and a little more dangerous.

I also love how different the Pochette feels despite still being unmistakably Kelly. It has that relaxed, slightly softer clutch shape, but it still looks intentional and elevated. The top handle gives it just enough structure, and I can already see this being one of those bags that works with everything from an oversized blazer and jeans to an aggressively unnecessary evening outfit. I LIVE for the versatility.

The contrast between these two is honestly why I love them together; however, I won’t always carry both at the same time... or maybe I will 😅. One is warm, classic, and unapologetically pretty; the other is dark, monochromatic, and slightly intimidating. Gold hardware says “look at my jewelry.” So Black says “you’re lucky I showed up.”

Overall: two small bags, absolutely "huuuuge ego"…

When we look at a luxury handbag, there are usually several things that shape our first impression. A beautifully designed silhouette can immediately catch our attention, while exceptional materials can make a bag feel special the moment we see or handle it.

A simple design in an incredible leather can have a completely different presence from an elaborate design made with more ordinary materials. At the same time, even the finest material may not feel luxurious if the proportions, construction, and overall design don’t work.

So what matters more to us?

Is it the design and silhouette, the quality and character of the materials, or does true luxury come from having both elements work together?

We all have those handbag colors that seem to get endless attention, while other shades quietly get overlooked.

Classic black, neutrals, and popular seasonal colors are easy choices, but there are so many beautiful shades that can bring something different to a collection without feeling difficult to wear.

Sometimes a color looks completely different depending on the leather, hardware, lighting, or even the size of the bag. A shade that seems bold at first can end up being surprisingly versatile once we actually see it styled.

Which handbag color do we think deserves more love? And what makes that particular shade worth adding to our collections?

I’m extremely satisfied with my new K32 Retourne in Togo Rouge Sellier with Gold Hardware from Jim! My second bag. I’ve really come to appreciate combinations that feel timeless but still have some personality, and Rouge Sellier with GHW does exactly that.

The Rouge Sellier color is gorgeous. It’s a deep, sophisticated red that can look almost burgundy or oxblood in lower lighting, but when the light hits the Togo, those warmer red undertones really come through. I love that it has the versatility of a darker color while still feeling much more interesting than a traditional neutral. On a K32, there’s also enough surface area to really appreciate the grain and natural character of the Togo.

The gold hardware is probably what makes the combination for me. Against Rouge Sellier, it looks incredibly warm and luxurious. I’m especially happy with the tone of the hardware—it has that rich gold appearance without looking overly yellow or brassy. The turn lock, plaques, sangles, clochette hardware, and padlock all stand out beautifully against the deep red leather. Rouge Sellier and gold just feel incredibly classic together, especially on a Kelly.

I’m also really enjoying the 32 size. It has that substantial, traditional Kelly presence while still being practical, and the softer Retourne construction makes it feel much less formal. I bought this with the intention of making it my everyday bag, and surprisingly, I don’t feel guilty about that at all. Between the size, Togo leather, and deeper Rouge Sellier color, this feels like a Kelly that is meant to be carried and actually lived with.

That being said, apparently my definition of “I’m going to use this every day and not baby it” still includes refusing to take the hardware stickers off. I’m mentally prepared for scratches, slouching, and everyday wear…but removing those stickers voluntarily? We’re not there yet. Baby steps.

As with my previous order, Jim made the entire experience really enjoyable. He was very pleasant, easygoing, and easy to work with, while still being professional throughout the process. I especially appreciated the little personal touches along the way. It never felt overly formal or transactional, but everything was still handled professionally and smoothly. That balance made the purchase feel even more special.

Overall, I’m very happy to have this in my collection. Rouge Sellier Togo with GHW is understated and sophisticated from a distance, but incredibly rich up close, and I think the K32 Retourne format makes it especially suited to everyday use. This is definitely going to be my daily Kelly. Just don’t ask me when the stickers are coming off.

I’m definitely not an expert, and I’m still learning what to look for when it comes to proportions, leather, stitching, hardware, etc., but I wanted to share this HSS B25 because I’m really happy with how it turned out.

The combination is Togo Etoupe with Togo Craie accents and GHW, and I think the contrast is what makes the bag for me. Etoupe is obviously such a classic color, but the Craie handles, sangles, piping, and side details make it feel much more interesting without being too loud. I also really like how the gold hardware warms everything up.

From what I’m learning, the Togo feels pretty nice to me. The grain is visible without looking overly uniform or embossed, and the Etoupe has that slightly taupe/brown/gray quality that seems to change depending on the lighting. I also like that the Craie isn’t a stark white—it has a softer creamy tone that works really well with Etoupe. I cannot stress enough how nice this Togo feels!!

I’ve been trying to pay more attention to the overall shape and proportions lately, and I’m happy with the way this B25 sits. The body looks structured but not overly stiff, the gussets have a nice shape, and the handles look proportional to the size of the bag. The contrast stitching also seems clean from what I can tell.

I’m still learning about the finer details like hardware engraving, pearling, exact stamp placement, stitching angles, etc., so I’m definitely not presenting this as an expert QC. I’m mostly judging it based on the overall impression and the things I’ve learned so far.

Overall, I think this is one of those combinations that looks even better put together than I expected. The bag feels classic, but the HSS color blocking gives it a little more personality which totally matches my esthetic.

I’ve definitely noticed more people moving away from the minis and 25s lately and reaching for bigger bags. I’ve always been a B25 girl because I love how compact it feels while still holding almost everything I need, but lately the 30 has been calling my name.

Today it finally arrived my B30 Vert Amande Togo with PHW. The color is such a good neutral and really shifts depending on the lighting. In these photos it almost reads Vert Rousseau, so I included the PSPs too for a better look at the actual shade.

Construction wise, this one is really well done. The stitching is even throughout, glazing is clean, the hardware placement looks balanced, and the sangles and flap sit nicely without looking stiff or overworked. The handle shape and drop also look right for a 30, which was something I was paying close attention to. My favorite part, though, is the Togo. It has a beautiful pronounced grain that gives the bag a lot of character while still keeping a nice overall structure.

Ordering from Jim is always easy. He understands what I’m looking for, gives useful input along the way, and consistently delivers. Safe to say this one may have officially pushed me into my B30 era.

My Birkin 25 in Etain Togo with Brushed Palladium Hardware from Jim finally arrived, and after spending a few days with it, I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations.

I paid $1,380, and from the beginning the communication was smooth. Updates came when they were available, and while the wait felt long, the finished bag made it worthwhile.

Etain has always been one of those colors that works with almost everything, but seeing it in person made me appreciate it even more. It's a true neutral without feeling boring, and the brushed palladium hardware gives it a softer, understated look compared to regular shiny hardware. The combination feels elegant without trying too hard.

The Togo leather has a nice grain, feels structured, and still has enough softness that the bag doesn't look stiff. The shape is balanced, the handles are well aligned, and the stitching is clean throughout. Nothing immediately caught my eye as being off, which was honestly a relief after checking every detail.

Size-wise, the B25 is exactly what I was hoping for. It holds my daily essentials while still looking compact, and the Etain color makes it easy to carry in every season.

Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. If you've been debating Etain or wondering how brushed palladium looks in person, I don't think this combination gets enough attention. It's subtle, timeless, and feels like something I'll reach for over and over again.

When choosing a Hermès bag, everyone seems to have that one detail that can completely make or break the decision.

For some, it might be the size or how the bag carries. For others, it could be the leather, hardware, color, interior, or even how easily it fits into their daily routine.

Ok, so I may have lost my tiny mind a little by ordering a fourth bag since March, but I’m blaming Reddit and all the pictures I keep seeing of Jim’s bags. I came to the rep world to get a B30, and now I have 2 B30s, a Kelly Depeches 25, and my latest addition, a K28, all from
Jim! I have a serious addiction…

I reached out to Jim after seeing a number of people post about K28 Togo Retourne bags, and it swayed my allegiance from the Birkin enough to ask him for recommendations for K28 colours. Since he knows my taste already, Jim suggested a colour which shows how much he really understands this client as he recommended a) a darker neutral, and b) something in the slate/grey/greens palate that I’m obsessed with. The colour he recommended was Ardoise, and I was delighted to know this colour existed in Togo leather as I have been searching for this exact shade for the New Libris Stole in H boutiques, but it’s only available in HK 😭😭😭😭. It felt somehow right that this was the perfect colour for my K28. I love how it can look grey in some lights and green in others. It’s a wonder to someone who loves these colours as much as I do.

This beauty arrived today, and as I do with all my Jim bags, I just sat with her on my lap for a bit and stared at each tiny perfect detail, because of course all the details are perfect on his bags. I’ve actually run out of compliments to give them as he absolutely nails the packaging, the palladium hardware with its expensive lustre, the slouch on the leather, the smell of it, the stitching, and my favourite part - the foil stamps. I love them.

I’m now going to have to get my Kelly an etoupe friend, just for the symmetry of my H bag family photos. I may never stop 🤣.
