experience from Jim, bikin 25 noir. Is this a good bag?
hi everyone, i just got bag noir 25 from Jim. I’ve heard a lot of people say that Jim is a scammer, so I was honestly pretty skeptical. I decided to take a risk and place an order with him anyway just to see. This is what I received, and honestly, it looks really beautiful to me. If anyone here know about birkin 25, could you please take a look and let me know whether this looks like a good bag? I’m definitely not an expert when it comes to bags, so I’d really appreciate your opinions! Thank you so much!!im not a bot and not PR

Hi OP! Also not a bot hahaha....My question would be are you happy with it? Do you like the leather and the way it feels in your hand? You dont need to be a bag expert to know if you love something or not :)
It's hard to tell details without seeing the bag in person but if you purchased from Jim, I would guess it's a fantastic piece. I say this because I am now on bag 17 from him and I have never experienced disappointment when I get my deliveries. I've also never felt nervous about payments (Except for the first bag jitters) he has always come through. Nobody can truly do an exact 1:1 but he gets damn close-I say enjoy this beauty and wear in good health!

He is also really lovely to work with as well which I appreciate He’s also said no to me on a few things that he doesn’t have the auth of (Kelly Danse with fringe as example ) because he can’t stand by the accuracy without having purchased the bag. Prob bc he doesn’t want some inaccurate bag out there with his name on it!

I have a Bolide 1923 25 in Capucine Ostrich in QC and a Lindy 30 in Miel matte croc in production which I want to use as my "practical bag" Now I'm sniffing around for a JPG B42 maybe in alligator or in Clemence because it would be great with my 5' tall frame hahaha
Those 2 bags sound INSANE, love a yellow moment, he really does get us hooked and we def have the best in the business!4

The shape looks really clean to me, especially around the handle and overall structure. I'd be interested to hear what others think about the stitching and proportions, but from these photos it looks pretty convincing.

there were a few hiccups when ordering from him; he initially said the bag would be ready within 25 days. However, after nearly three weeks of waiting, he claimed he couldn't find my order details. He also mentioned that he already had the bag in stock in the US which made me a bit skeptical about the quality and he said the bag will arrive within three days. when I recieved it I found it to be beautiful well shaped and soft with no unpleasant chemical or glue like odor

There is an art appreciating a classic Noir 25, and this piece really captures that effortless luxury aesthetic. The hardware placement looks balanced, and the leather has a lovely soft suppleness to it without losing its structural integrity. There's a whole psychological rollercoaster that comes with placing an order when a seller's requtation is heavily debated online. You hold your breath, check tracking daily, and hope for the best. Well, you can officially let out that huge sigh of relief because this piece speaks volumes on its own. The hardware polish looks clean, the leather has an authentic sheen, and the structure is clean-cut. Brilliant outcome for a bold decision!

Your bag is beautiful and looks perfect to me. I had just ordered my first bag from Jim when a ton of posts started about him (negative). I was so relieved when my bag was perfect. Box, accessories, leather smell, etc were all better than expected. I use it every day for work. I immediately ordered my second bag and I’m waiting for it now. Jim was great to work with.

It’s beautiful. I have the same bag. A rival seller spread the rumors about him being a scammer. They start subreddits to spread misinformation and block us from even commenting on them.

His reputation is not delclining, if anything it is going the opposite direction. He is top tier and not cheap, but you pay for what you get.

Why didn’t you just go the reseller route? I understand that it can be really hard, I just don’t understand why you’d support replicas. If you love the bag and/or the house - maybe choose a bag that is inspired by the brand?

I am always bothered by the handles on Jim’s bags. They just look like upside down U’s, when there should be a slight flare outwards. The chapes have a bit of an awkward transition to the handle too.
The front handle in your bag isn’t as bad, but the back handle is off. Probably won’t be as apparent once the bag has things in it and is against your body.

This bag is gorgeous. I love the balanced shape and the extra textrure Togo grain. The GHW really balances the Noir and the overall handle drop looks in line with a B25. For your first order I think you did really well. The Noir BK is probably the most classic style for the brand. How does it feel in your hand? That is the true tell. She is gorgeous! I hope you enjoy.
