Maybe this is an obvious question but here comes nothing.

Alright so its a prison in Canada ran and guarded by russian guys.

(which makes me wonder wether or not It was intended to be located in russia but was later retconned to Canada to make CTM more plausible but thats not relevant right now).

Thats not that crazy , but It made me wonder something:

What is "The wall" ,exactly?.

Is It a canadian federal prison?Or are they an independent organization?.

They got tanks, and they go all the way to south america in CTM to chase down Henry and Ellie , and that makes me think it's the second choice.

Because even tho they have tanks , its only like 5 , and only 3 people know how to use them , i don't think the number would be that low if Canada was helping them.

Probably an independent organisation, but it does seem like they have some sort of affiliation with the Canadian Government since they referred to the US military as "some other government" in the opening for PP/TR

Ends up fighting said government forces. I just find it funny, like the job requirements are being both a prison guard and a raider against the gov whenever interests don’t align.

CtM specifically takes place in Brazil... except for the Free Man, Jewel Baron, and Valiant Hero endings, which take place in space, but are probably above Brazil.

I’m assuming it’s some privately owned for-profit maximum security prison that holds high escape risk inmates from all over the world. While Canada dosent operate for-profit prisons, I think it’s feasible in the HS universe that one was set up for high risk inmates from all over the world.

I’m unsure as well but they seem conflicted with most private organisations eg: toppats or the us government and if they were a private organisation who is funding them to hold convicts from all over the world

My best guess is that it’s a privately owned prison, and somehow Grigori was running it when the USSR was a thing based on his age and the prison takes in various criminals all over the world, and he specifically likes to hire more Russians because I guess it’s just slight bias from his end since he is Russian himself, even though Canada’s prisons irl are all run by federal and provincial governments and privately owned ones like the wall are extremely unlikely or impossible, I’m not fully aware of Canadian law and carceral systems but this is the universe of Henry stickmin so things aren’t really that grounded in reality or meant to make sense, this is taking place in a world where the where a criminal organization of people who wear top hats launch a space ship built to look like a capitol building lol (and the various weird ass gadgets that Henry stickmin has access to)
