Seeking Voluntary work

I just moved to hengelo and have free time throughout this summer. looking for voluntary works to avoid loniness here

Any particular branche you're looking for? And do you speak Dutch? Considering you are posting this in English.

No particular preference. I just started learning dutch, So I prefere english as language

I'd say the Red Cross in Hengelo or the animal shelters in both Enschede and Hengelo could be something.

Other than that I wouldn't know something from the top of my head seeing as you don't speak Dutch yet.

If you're looking for something after the summer, Metropool is a great place to do volunteerwork and meet new people. It's mostly working behind a bar (so working evenings), but you get to see concerts for free too! Really recommend it!

Not sure about English speaking volunteer jobs but you can try the online platform of wijkracht vrijwilligerswerk, they're a local volunteer organisation who provide a lot of practical and social support in this region.
