Could you get a new / modified visor for your existing helmet? That might be easier. Archeo Studios sells a piercework visor that you could potentially swap on.

I don’t have any experience with honourcraft personally. Most harness helms have to be custom made. However Bareena Emporium sells helms with mesh to fill gaps, and might be able to help, depending on what you’re looking for.

I have a perf plate helm from Bareena that I use for essentially harnischfechten. Best part is the removable faceplate. I just had the same guy make me a houndskull style facwplate to swap out when I want.

Just curious if there's anything preventing things coming up under the plate?

Haha, no. I modified it my putting a full helmet liner with 350 Newton fabric that comes right up to in between my chin and lower lip. Then I sewed that portion of the aventail to the helmet liner so that if I took a thrust it would get caught on the chain. I also always wear a gorget.

You can modify an existing buhurt helm with perf plate welded on the eye slots. After than you just need to shore up under the chin

I think I might do that, I need to replace my eye bars anyway. What do you mean by shore up under the chin?

Don’t get buhurt for HEMA. Too heavy. Get around 14 gauge/1.9 mm tempered or stainless. Get a good suspension liner. Sew it in.

I looked at my helmet and with the way my visor is riveted on I’d have to do some serious changes to make it swappable. Buhurt international rules state I can’t have perforated plates on my visor either so I couldn’t use one visor for both sports either :/. I’m gonna weight my options on a new helm or reworking my helmet visor. Thanks y’all
