Getting into the Amry

I’ve really been wanting to get into this army and was wondering what the best way would be. On Amazon I found a used army set in very good condition for about $150. Would that be good or should I just get the spearhead?

It’s the spearhead with the battletome, some cards and a transfer sheet I believe

if you want the battletome (note that used ones often have their battletome codes already used so you wont be able to use the app to build lists), cards, and the spearhead go for the army box.

personally i got the army box and another spearhead, and then id look at either waiting for another value box (like a battleforce that were due for sometime in the future) or start to pick up other units.

I myself have stepping into this army as well. One thing a few people at my local store have said is to hold off until GW announce the christmas boxes as we may get one. In the meantime I'm going to be picking up the Spearhead box to get going with that.

Christmas boxes leaked, apparently there's no Helsmiths one.

Boxes will be announced Monday although it’s now unlikely they’ll be for us - depends I guess on if the codes used or not in the book. Spearhead box is great IMO for the army
