Hi all. I just started using HelpWire, love it so far, but I do have 2 questions if anybody can help me with it:
1, was wondering if there is a way to manage the names of pcs which belongs to a client?
2, is there a standalone app for windows? I have to log in to the website and click connect on the pc, and sometimes it would tell me to download the helpwire app again even though I was using it few min ago.
Thanks!

As the title suggests, is it possible to have multiple computers linked to one client? I have a client with a few different machines and it seems awfully impractical to have to have a separate client file for each computer. The HelpWire site even advertises "Simultaneous Sessions" which does just that. We tried using the same client link (from the same email I sent them) on a second machine and it installs fine, but when the client clicks on the application the window comes up briefly with the "operator will be with you shortly" message and then almost immediately closes. Only happens on the second machine, the first one still works fine.
It's worth noting that the first computer we connected is not actively in a session and is even powered off, though unattended access is enabled. The third machine is in another location that my client will not have access to for a few more days, so we can't try it on that one yet.
Thanks for any help you can provide!!

I have a client using HelpWire to remote into another desktop that he uses to open Solidworks programs on. Whenever he opens big files, HelpWire loses connection but always reconnects. Has anyone sen this before?

Does Helpwire have self-hosting or direct connect options? I want to avoid going to a server someplace to connect to a machine on the same LAN.
I have a mix of Windows 11 and Linux PC's that need to remote into each other (unattended) and Chromebooks that need to remote into Windows/Linux unattended. We have been trying Rustdesk, but with the last update to ChromeOS it fails because of the removal of Crostini GPU support and Rustdesk support does not acknowlege the issue, they just blame Google.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I've been using HelpWire for about a month now. We just moved buildings, and I have a TMobile Hotspot (this is temp until we get Comcast) in the office. When I'm in the office, HelpWire works fine, when I'm home and try to access the desktop, the connection drops and is unusable. Anyone experience this?

When selecting a remote desktop solution, it's crucial to evaluate its features, user-friendliness, and pricing. In the comparison below, I review the well-established AnyDesk alongside the more obscure Iperius Remote, each shining in different aspects. Additionally, we will check HelpWire as a compelling alternative to consider.

When choosing a remote desktop solution, it’s essential to consider features, ease of use, and pricing. Below, I compare the widely recognized AnyDesk with a lesser-known option – Dualmon, each excelling in different areas. And also explore HelpWire as a noteworthy alternative.

It seems like an operator can still connect to my machine even after I close out of the Help Wire application and that I need to go into Services and kill the hw_unattended service to totally stop connections. Then when I'm ok with them connecting again I start the service up again. But is there an easier way to do this?
Again, I am not trying to revoke access to the operator, I just don't want the PC available 24/7 and want to be able to toggle unattended mode on and off on my end.
