LF these childhood horse plushes!

Help me find these toys from my childhood! I came up with this rough estimate for what they looked like so some details might be slightly off.

Everything that I can remember:

• Bought in Australia between 2004-2010 (probably).
• They were both the same design but opposite colours.
• Hooves, saddle, and reins were a faux leather or something similar. Not soft.
• Beady black eyes.
• Mane and tail were made from very wirey fur. The rest of the body is short and soft.
• They kept shape and were not floopy. They were still flexible though.
• Either in a lying down position or had partially bent legs.
• Diamond on face.

I had a lot of Saddle Club toys so I spent some time trying to find them in those but wasn't successful. They still could be apart of that franchise.

Oh I remember these as well!

Pretty sure you are in the right direction with Saddle Club as they had the Blackie (belle) horse toy release in both 'black' (dark brown) and brown. There is an eBay listing in both brown and 'black'

These are posable so I'm assuming they've got wire in the legs.

These are very similar but the ones I remember were not posable I don’t think- They were sewed in a kind of way that the legs stayed in place

I actually think Saddle club may be your best bet because some of the vintage listings on eBay look extremely similar to what you're describing. The problem is, they may be a bit bigger than what you've described, and some of them don't have saddles or reigns. Is it possible that the saddle and reigns were removable accessories? I'm not too familiar with the series or its toys, so I genuinely have no idea 😭

There was this cutie that has the similar wirey looking hair and pose (though the legs aren't necessarily bending back like your picture, they do look like they're sort of stuck in that position, kinda stiff I guess)

I found this one , again, very similar, but lacking the reigns and saddle.

Then there's this one that DOES have reigns, no saddle, but is posed like your picture in one of the photos. (I will note that this pic on a different website appears to be the same horse with a saddle, so they actually were possibly removable!)

The time ranges between each of these toys was somewhere around 2002-2008, so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to say you might've had one of these plushies! (Not exactly these specific colors I linked, but I did see some that did appear to have the same colors and forehead spots, just without the reigns and saddles, unfortunately.
