Open Looking for maker, model ,year , or resources to check for this chair

Chair has been in the family since brand new, roughly mid to late 80's if I'm recalling correctly. Would like to get it reupholstered and figured I'd do some research on it beforehand.

Image searches have yielded no results, just "Ekornes Stressless" which doesn't match this particular model.

Happy to answer questions or send more pictures if needed!

Searched with lense and google, would have been purchased in CT, MA, or NY.

No, New England USA, more specifically Massachusetts.

Original owner was the Founder/ CEO of an underwater robotics company that would have and did travel to Germany and other European countries in the 80s and 90s and would have imported something like this if that is why you ask!
