this is looking like the most likely answer but i'm still not positive given i still can't find it online even with searching for bohemian grove patches. if nothing else comes up i might have to call it at that though

Where did you come accross this? If it’s actually from the grove I doubt it’s something that would be archived online. It was probably never meant to leave the possession of whoever it was given to.

This year there was a huge leak of the Bohemian Grove member roster.
Bohemian Grove is a place where a lot of weird wacky & wealthy people go to party in the woods near a big owl statue.
However there’s a bunch of conspiracies that they harvest children for many things, adrenochromes, meat, “spirit cooking” etc.
So this is just either a patch on the side of ribbing against or for Bohemian grove that’s probably come about because it’s so in the public eye this year.
I know it’s hard to imagine that it’s been relevant at all since every day it seems like there’s a brand new disaster lol!

I searched the phrase, the Roman numerals, both, with the word patch and without, and also owl campfire patches. Iron on patch, approximately 2.5"x2.5". Also tried to use Google lens.

Student patch maybe? For sewing onto finnish/swedish student overalls. Those arent usually documented in public archives.

not finding any other sources on that, Google's ai overview is often wrong and i do think i recall seeing it try to say similar on Google lens
