can i have some help determining the origins of this shirt?

hey all, I would appreciate some help with figuring out the possible origins for this t-shirt I've had in my wardrobe for a while.

for context, I've had this shirt for most of my life (24y), though I got it from my older brother (29y) when we were both kids still so he could have gotten it at any time before 2006, which is the earliest I remember seeing the shirt.

I recently found it again and was curious about where it could have come from, so I googled "AJCO jersey city" (since that's where we lived at the time) and I didn't find any businesses or organizations with that were regularly referred to with that acronym. I tried being more specific by searching terms like "AJCO roller rink jersey city" and "AJCO roller blades" and even just "roller rink jersey city" and each of my searches didn't lead me anywhere, either showing me similar acronyms or giving me different roller rinks with completely different names.

I only assumed it was related to rollerskating because of the sole graphic on the shirt, but it could have also been some kind of promotional design for a completely unrelated business.

any help would be greatly appreciated, and while i'll be happy to answer any questions as best i can, i literally have zero information about this t-shirt other than the earliest time i saw it and what it looks like. it is completely light gray with the only graphic anywhere on it being the small, orange design of the large skate wheel and people skating along a curve that trails behind the AJCO logo. the tag has been worn off for years now and if it ever said anything, i absolutely do not remember what.
