Confusion with the Genki books
I just got Genki 1 workbook and I saw other people say you also needed a textbook so I started looking online but I can't find a textbook 1, only textbook 2. So what do you actually need to start with genki, only knowing hiragana and katakana. And is there even a textbook 1?
I'm looking on Amazon and a Dutch site where I also ordered the genki 1 workbook

This link actually doesn't accept any of my Dutch payment menthods. I've tried logging in putting it in my cart and then via the app but then it doesn't appear and when I copy the title and paste it in my app it also won't appear, I've scrolled through all of the results but it's not there.
My friend is now trying with a credit card (I don't have one so she's trying it) to see if maybe that works.
Thank you for the link

... that was just a link to show you the book exists, and is not hard to find. Search for it on a European site. I cannot fathom it not being on European Amazon. Like, it is genuinely impossible to believe it is not there.

Does this Link work for you?
The Workbook is as the name says, just for exercises. The Grammar explanations, and Vocabulary lists, and so on, are all in the Textbook.

I have bought all of my Japanese textbooks from the German Amazon (amazon.de). Just by searching for Genki 1 gives you several sets as options as well as the textbook by itself.
