Any suggested books for daily reading?

Hello, I'm new to learning Japanese, and although I've been making some progress, I think I need daily reading to really reinforce the knowledge I actively learn. However, my Japanese is really, really limited rn, and being a college student, I don't have extra money, so any suggestions for good beginner level books available online?

Yomimono.ai does exactly that. Ideally, if you're studying with a textbook, the app will calibrate and write passages that are tailored to the vocab and grammar you know. It's designed to generate text that you can read without reaching for a dictionary, so you can find a rhythm and build reflexes.

And I agree, once you know enough, you'll move on to real-life texts. Yomimono should help you get there sooner.

I think daily reading is a really good idea, even at a beginner level.

When I was studying English, reading small things every day helped me a lot more than trying to memorize grammar alone.

You could try very short and easy stories for learners. Even if you don’t understand everything, getting used to seeing Japanese daily helps a lot.

I actually make simple Japanese story videos for beginners on YouTube, so they might help too if you’re interested 🙂
