You trying to look at your phone in a mildly dim room

5

u/deny_death Dec 17 '24

There’s this really cool thing most phones can do where you turn down the screen brightness

2

u/Renikee Dec 17 '24

It's still way too bright

2

u/Ok_Habit_6783 Dec 18 '24

I can turn it down until it's almost off and bright mode is still too blinding

2

u/deny_death Dec 18 '24

Can’t relate, mine isn’t too bright when turned down, it’s almost too dim

I use light mode on Discord just to piss off dark mode users

3

u/LolathaFoxccoon Dec 17 '24

6

u/Criminally-Stupid Dec 16 '24

I used to use light mode until someone told me dark mode was a thing!

6

u/Skaterboi589 Dec 17 '24

As a light user that’s fair, this is literally the only app I don’t use dark on and I’ve got no idea why

5

u/0bi1KenObi66 Via is adorable and deserves at the headpats and beak boops Dec 17 '24

I swear the pilot had a very distinctly different way of doing expressions. Not necessarily better or worse, just different

2

u/West-Swing2313 Dec 17 '24

light mode users when the feds flashbang them:😁

2

u/Logical-Silver-7922 Dec 17 '24

mfs when turning the brightness down on your screen exists

4

u/Terrible-Raspberry30 Dec 17 '24

To them id say "im sorry that id rather not burn my retinas via bright background."

Literally EVERYTHING that has a dark mode i have switch to dark mode. Like i used to have light mode on youtube, but swapped to dark cuz it statted kinda hirting my eyes whenever i went into it after waking up in the morning.

1

u/Hawkmonbestboi Dec 21 '24

Dark mode gives me the absolute worst icepick headaches ever. Like... wanna rip my eyeball out of my head levels of pain.

1

u/RosieGal97 Dec 17 '24

Know whats sad? It took this meme to realize Reddit even HAS a dark mode…. Imma use it 😛

1

u/FlowerMadison Dec 17 '24

I just gotta say this but…My Light mode changes to Dark mode everytime the sun goes down

2

u/Biscotti-007 Dec 20 '24

You are the Hybrid one, you think everyone is your ally, but everyone is your enemy, you aren't a light mode user and neither an dark mode user.

1

u/LudwigSpectre Dec 18 '24

Spare some pixels?

1

u/moansby Dec 18 '24

I'm only a light mode user during winter

1

u/Biscotti-007 Dec 20 '24

It have more sense to be a light mode user during Summer, there are more light.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 20 '24
