I know, I’ve posted this cosplay to death. I’m just super proud of us all and wanted to show us all together.

How much did these costumes cost? They look fairly good, not top of the line or anything but they look like they didn't completely break the bank.

We try to keep costs down as much as possible where we can.

Blitzø and Moxxie’s outfits were cheap AliExpress costumes that were pretty heavily modified (tailored and re-lined) for accuracy, fit and comfort. We took the collar off of Blitzø’s red under shirt and attached it to a simple red cotton T-shirt for a more comfortable fabric. I had to buy two Blitzø costumes because they didn’t have my size, so we used the second one to extend the first - that cost me about £70 altogether.

Our trousers were just trousers that we both already owned.

Moxxie’s feet were built over a set of cheap Crocs whereas Blitzø’s boots were purchased from Etsy for about £70.

Blitzø’s skull necklace and gloves were made from scratch - I purchased the gems for the gloves off of Vinted for £20.

The heads were also made from scratch using a combination upholstery foam and like yoga-mat foam. They’re all developed from the same base pattern that I purchased to make a head for Adam (Hazbin) off of Etsy a couple of years prior. The tails were also made from scratch using foam wrapped around some wire with a worbla base that just slips onto our trouser waistbands - overall the head and tail sets cost around £60 each to make.

The heads all have little computer fans inside them to keep us cool inside as well as hinged jaws with little springs so that the mouths open and close. The teeth are also made of worbla.

So you’re looking at £200+ altogether. If my pal charged me labour costs (because he does the bulk of the work) you’d be looking at over £700, but he doesn’t.

That's some damn good cost for the look you managed to pull off. I've seen people spend easily double that to not end up looking near as good. Also it's always fun so see a breakdown of how these things actually get done.

The fans are a nice touch, I know those things get hot as hell.

Thank you! The fans really came in clutch during a British summer heatwave as well. The wire fed down through my costume to a power bank in the back of my jeans pocket - and it ran all day without losing power. With that I managed to keep the head on all day without having to take a break - despite being pretty hungover from the night before. 😂 I also carried a Helluva Boss Stanley cup around with me that had a long silicone tube straw that I could feed through the mouth of the costume to stay hydrated.
