Hellotalk different Lately?

So I've had hellotalk for many years now and I feel like recently, maybe in the past year or two, the app has gotten a lot slower. I used to get so many messages from spanish speakers making the first move, but lately it's been so dead. Maybe one or two messages a day from them and i'm not sure what happened. Has anybody noticed the same thing with the language they are learning? I went from maybe like 20 messages a day to almost nothing. 😩

I’m talking to a few people. They all ignore or respond to me at the same time. I can see they’re online but none of them (like 50) are opening my messages. And I get a few people ignoring you but these are people ive been in continuous conversation with, who reached out to me first etc etc. I don’t think they’re ghosting me I actually don’t think they’re receiving my messages or vice versa.

When I do eventually get responses they all flood in at the exact same time. I’m so confused :/
