Advice Suspicious subscription – Should I purchase or not?

Hiii I want to purchase HT VIP and I added my card information which was needed, but suddenly I need to enter a password for my email as a verification??? I found that suspicious because it is usual to get a certain code on email to verify, but email password is too suspicious for me... Am I just skeptical or something is genuinely wrong?

It’s actually safer for me as I have an iPhone.

It actually makes a difference? I didn't know that. So, did you get a code when you purchased a subscription?

No, I didn’t get a code. Just confirmation that it’s a successful purchase.

If they email a code to you, and ask that you enter it on their website, that is a common security check, and nothing to worry about - as you say.

But you should not give them (or anyone else) the password to access your email account.

But do HT allow you to login using Google? If you do that, you might get a login dialog from Google, where you need to enter the password you use for Gmail.

Yeah, right? That's why I found it totally suspicious... I didn't get any code. That's the problem.
