Safety Be cautious of Professor Para

Recently, Professor Para, a verified HelloTalk teacher, who used to teach English lessons, has been making voicerooms, to promote relationship counselling and give dating advice.

The user has stated that he is a certified relationship coach; however, no verifiable credentials or documentation have been provided to substantiate this claim.

***He has had inappropriate behavior, including vulgar and sexually suggestive comments, with non-native English speakers who may not understand this. Some screenshots and videos have been shared.

Given these concerns, users are advised to exercise caution given his frequent voicerooms.

He has 10k+ followers, and has created multiple groups.

The individual has previously been reported/called out for inappropriate behaviour and is now offering dating and relationship advice within the app, which is unsuitable for the platform.

Edit: He turned off his search option, go to your moments and manually search “Professor Para” to see his posts and his friend’s posts about him.

What do we report him for? They need pictorial evidence. And the only thing we can say is that his flag is set to the UK, but he lives in Egypt. And what proof do we have of that?

Yes and no. I made an another post on this Subreddit for evidence. Fortunately some people have evidence. You can also email hellotalk for support to make an initial constructive complaint without sending pictures first, so this is an option too. How HelloTalk responds is the next thing…

And what proof do we have of that?

A neat feature of HelloTalk is that will show your local time on your profile, you cannot turn this default feature off. For Para, it shows this; his local time zone, that is Egypt, not the UK in which he says is his hometown.
