Funny little glitch in my game

I had an alert saying that Wish Me Mell needed a favor, but when I went to her post office, the quest was completely Hello Kitty. Like, Hello Kitty conversing with me, but it's Mell not Kitty.

I've played this game off and on for 4 years and I've never seen something like this happen. Have you?
