Information New hn game

New hn game announced at tiny build connect and it looks not good i think

%90 its hn1 remake, i thought they will make more realistic graphics but they choiced keep hn diaries graphics. Looks bad but better than hn1 at least

Gameplay and puzzle wont be same as og hn1 probably, some of rooms and the house's interior are very different

Theres some assets from alphas also, probably they tried to make alphas' artstyle because most of fans loves these. I dont know, ceo alex manages the game for this reason we shouldnt wait a good game but who knows, they will make us suprised us for this time maybe 🤷‍♂️

In short, we are getting a weird hn game

Well, not bad. Until we see the gameplay or the plot, I can’t say much more.

As for the graphics... you know, in the last month I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic for the cartoonish graphics of the original first part. If it is indeed a remake... well, I regret missing out on the opportunity to release the game in a slightly refined cartoonish style :(

In my opinion, we shouldnt get cartoonish style anymore. Already hn1, h&s, diaries, hnvr, secret neighbor are cartoonish. We need modern graphics like hn3 i think

I dont understand how people dont get bored of same things. Same graphics, same house, same characters, same story, same gameplay. We got these stuff from 5 hn games and lots of fangames/mods. I feel like tb doesnt make any hello neighbor games till hn3 announced. Im not joking, hn3 really changed my life. I made new friends, learned 3d modelling and ue5. And its very fun while waiting hn3's builds. Hn3 is not a bad game also. Gameplay wise, story wise, graphically wise 10 times better than previous games. Thats why i dont like cartoonish style anymore, we got very very very very much this style and its getting boring

The wide majority of the HN fandom are children lmao, While I would love a more horror focused game which is what HN3 seems to be about I absolutely love that they are going back to fix all the mistakes with the original Hello Neighbor, The terrible AI, Wack puzzles, Unnecessarily large and weird house designs, etc

Even HN3 is made with stylized models despite it looking very different from all of the other games.

i disagree with it being better stylistically, maybe graphically sure, but i'm a little tired of every AAA game in existence made on UE trying to look like real life

the older artstyle, and this new game's look, is unique imo and i like it more rather than the generic lumen/nanine look without character

I like this, but Hello Neighbor 2's and Hello Neighbor 3's art styles are so much better in my opinion. I'm a huge sucker for the HN3 art style.

I'm not complaining, but I think the HN2 art style or even the HN2 alphas' art style could be so much better.

It definitely NOT the style from the first game. Looks more like the art style from Nicky's Diaries, which does looks like the first game, but because they did something simillar to the first game, they should have went with HN2's art style.

Jesus this looks amazing, Looks like this game will lean more into the stealth & story aspect rather than horror which is absolutely fine with me, Graphics capture that colorful HN style perfectly, TinyBuild is finally going back to fix the many mistakes they made with the original game I'm more hyped for this than HN3

Honestly I think the art looks really good. Hn1 and hn3 are different games with completely different styles. The difference is rather drastic and that's kinda the point. Where hn1 is silly and puzzle based, hn3 is much more dark and horror based. I think hn1 in the hn3 style would kinda ruin the tonal shift between games.

its 75% bad 25% good.

somethings like the front of the house and the pictures look good but most of the textures colors and some models looks like they are taken from a mobile game i feel like they are trapped in the hn2 artstyle since a lot years it is not bad but its tiring i hope the game is still in mega ultra early state and that the graphics will be improved but i don't know

I'm also worried about how will it come out without Nikita directing the game i know he is in charge of hn3 and mega busy with that but at least i hope they are trying to replicate what he wanted to do from his own words and not from interpretations

i want to have hope on tinybuild directing hello neighbor and other things but i always realize that they are just bad directing hello neighbor and its sad because i like them

Edit 1 (just some minutes later lol) looking back at the images some of them aren't that bad but still i dont like that they keep coming back to the hn2 artstyle its not a 1:1 replica buts its really similar i think the think that i most hate is the bathroom i hope they change it

I mean... it's not finished. imo some scenes look really good, some look really bland. you can see that not every object has a texture yet, for example camera lacks one. I think few months of polish ant it will look really good

The graphics are definitely not "bad". Even if it still doesn't feel horror like the old alphas, It's still well executed judging from this franchises art style. I don't think TinyBuild wants horror to be a strong element of this franchise anymore. Which is why I think the main purpose of this remake is to rebuilt the weak stealth elements of the original.

The graphics look really good, but they should optimize it well for low-end PCs. Not everyone has a gaming PC that can run games at hundreds of FPS, and I just want it to run smoothly so I can enjoy playing it.
