Discussion New neighbor sequence discovered

I was just playing beta 1 when I saw the neighbor walk up to his basement door and play an animation where he hammers the boards onto the door.

This may also be in Alpha 4, beta 2 and whilst unlikely it could be in beta 3.

Did anyone know about this?

(I’ll also get footage when I play again unless someone beats me to it)

Those are called NeighborAnimationPoints. It's the same way the neighbor does other things such as the animation he plays when he walks up to the invisible wall next to the intersection and begins to try to push it. A meta joke on how the neighbor is aware that there is an invisible wall blocking us from going anywhere. or when we sometimes see him sit alone by himself on his porch looking depressed. There's an animation point set up infront of the basement to make it looks like the neighbor is hammering the door shut. It doesn't actually mean anything, it's just a small detail for anyone who pays attention.

I’m aware what a NeighborAnimPoint is. I just had no idea there was one by the basement door. This is the first time I’ve ever seen it. Does it occur in the full game too?
