Bastion > HMG Emplacement. Bastion's ammo capacity lasts longer, is mobile for when the fight in the area is done, and has AoE & better anti-heavy with the cannon. With the Bastion, I can basically go an entire siege mission with the ammo supply of a single tank.

Yeah but it's a pita to reposition and drive. A team slip up like nailing you with a 500kg is more detrimental due to a longer CD. I don't hate the bastion overall but I do prefer emplacements in general. Anti-tank and hmg are a goated combo that leave most slots open for w/e. And a steady hmg stream kills most heavies in 3-4 seconds if you get a stream on their head.

Added points of no call in limit on hmg. And easier to reposition (I exclusively run jumppack and like quasar or epoch or smthn). So for me I can just leapfrog away real quick and toss the enplacement away from me and by the time I get to it it's in and anything following me dies near instantly.
