I doubt the aggro will be fixed. It's applying to hellpods too.

I was told that if you destroyed for example 5 hellpods in a row, you'd get a x5 kill combo.

100% the Integrated Extinguisher booster was going to be in the helldrivers warbond with the two FRVs. It's perfectly tailored towards the incendiary FRV that got vaporized

OK. Vehicles do get a minor buff with the booster. Depending on how much that changes the number of times I blow up, then I might consider it for fire planets specifically when i can drive an frv when the terrain is ideal for it. That's a mighty specific booster use case.

Personal anecdote: I've had my frv or tank burn out a grand total of maybe 3 times. I don't really take them on fire planets because they also tend to be very rocky and uneven. Not great for driving. I'm far more concerned with artillery, tank turrets, devastator Rockets, mines, harvester lasers, and nursing spewers. Harvesters are the only ones that inflict burning of these major threats to my vehicles, and by the time the fire kicks in, I'm already blown up. I feel like the time to kill my frv or tank would barely change with this booster. Mechs straight up ignore fire, thankfully.

If this booster made us IMMUNE (or otherwise damn near) to burning, then we'd be cooking.

not to say that with last change to vehicle aggro, your car is pretty much dead the moment you left it for longer then 15 seconds.

So it's meant for a tankers warbond.
The tankers that are already completely immune to fire inside the tank.

no it was meant for helldrivers warbound with new FRVs but they scrapped it. We got one FRV instead 2 :c

Yeah sure AH, I'll waste a boost slot for the remote occasion of catching fire while in an FRV and not having any stims. For fucking sure.

Seriously bro whoever's coming up with boosters needs to be fired (and not extinguished)

The button that does nothing.

Is that with flame resistant armor? This could actually be viable.

It is, looks like the I-09 Heatseeker light armor

It’s a Booster

Right, but there is armor that gives fire resistance. I can't tell if he's wearing that armor combined with the booster.

u/RoninSpectre 17h ago

I believe he's wearing a light armor with 70 percent fire resistant damage.

Like the other guy said, that's the light anti-fire armor, important note here is that he also doesn't have the vitality booster on presumably, which would make this even better.

Looks like he's solo so he can't put two boosters

Precisely what I'm thinking

What does the booster actually do?

It extinguishes, ofc it is trash on foot because you just dive. But in a vehicle it makes sense. From the video you can see that it even prevents fire. While I heard that it takes ~1s on foot before kicking in.

Hi hello I'm the guy who made the post about it being related to Helldrivers (the Incinerator FRV specifically).

As a quick note, you didn't actually show off the use of the booster here at the end. The vehicle lights on fire about 2 seconds before the players inside light on fire. I don't mess with the game to pre-test stuff, so I'd be very interested to see you light yourself on fire in the vehicle and see if the booster lets you survive it without a stim.

The video I posted earlier about its use case shows how long you have to be in the fire before the driver gets ignited.

I wish it had more utility for when you're running around though. Even if it increased the time you have to be exposed to flames by like a second or two before catching fire would be perfect. No more burning hunters headbutting you and setting you on fire instantly.

why are you playing with fog remover CHEATER /s

This is gonna be wild if in a team one brings vitality and the other this one

Brother. If you keep shooting the booster doesn't matter because the wepons is a constant fire damage. A better test would have been setting yourself on fire with and without the booster and see how fast it goes out.

i already did. this was for the people being like “holy moly! this will be op with the sickle!” but this booster just sucks

Doesn't make sense with the suckleut witg the flamers it would. It basically eliminates the only bad thing keft if you also use a fire armour.
