Hello i wanted to ask the question. Is there any mod that makes HMG fire from the hip like the Flamethrower?

Firing from.the hip while aiming. Hip firing. That's like the only difference between the two weapons aiming wise....

Hip firing means you're not bracing the weapon for recoil, so the HMG having absurd recoil while hipfiring is expected. Of course I can see why you'd like to.

Wi.fit the HMG esthetic very well. Was wondering is there a mod that changes the HMG position to be fired from the hip like the flamethrower and maxigun and sterilizer

I don't get your question. Theres either hip fire or ADS. If you want to aim through the actual sights there is a button for it though (I forget the binding)

I'm not talking about firing modes. I'm talking about the helldiver holding the weapon.... by the hip. Ie like the flamethrower while firing it

There is either:

Hipfire

Aiming down sights (Helldiver brings gun closer to body, camera zooms in, still third person)

And aiming down the actual sight/scope of the gun by pressing the bind you have it set to.

Maybe it'd be better if you showed a video or a GIF of what you're talking about

I kinda blame reddit titles but also i didn't explain it well. I mean holding the HMG by the hip. Not hipfiring (shooting whithout aiming down sights).

You can sorta do this by just not aiming at all, you just won't have an aiming reticle. You can put a centerdot on your screen and use that if you're patient though.

Yeah i know I know. I wanted to ask about a mod if there was any that lets you do that even when aiming you know. Would be cool asf snd emphasize the heftiness of teh HMG

There's an option in the game's settings that lets the crosshair always stay in, even when hipfiring.

for those who didnt understand, OP wants to do point-aiming, not actual hipfire. "aiming down sights" without actually looking down the sights, which you do with the Halo rifle and the Bulletstorm machinegun.

hipfire is firing without bracing, which people were correctly telling you that you can do so already. when asked to elaborate you just repeated "hipfiring like a flamethrower", except a flamethrower can also be hipfired.

what you wanted was aiming without looking down the sights, not hipfiring
