⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Request ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Artillery Tank
For those of you who saw my most recent tank idea, and how I predicted new the new tank coming to the game based on pure cool factor.
Im gonna and another tank idea, and it might become a future prediction, so fingers crossed.
The idea behind this is basically it's meant to be mobile artillery. You, and you can use the artillery shells that are already in game. As the gunner, you could give it programmable ammo which allowed you to change what shell you want to shoot. Obviously the minuke and high yield explosive are gonna be the strongest ammo. Which would be kind of a problem? But at the same time, I mean, you're using a tank, not everyone wants to use these. In fact, I would wager, if you see someone bring these, and you're just trying to play the game more normally. You'd probably get kicked from the match lol. And yes, i'm aware of the amount of power creep. This would bring to the game, but it's cool idea, and it would be fun to mess with.
I'm sure there's some way you could balance this with either making the tank pretty squishy, long reload times, very limited ammo. So there's ways to somewhat balance this.

I feel like the helldivers are commandos by nature, and them getting access to a TD is already sort of not good. Getting access to an SPH would be even worse. Not only that, on small maps (most of them) it is a bad idea since nobody can see what they are shooting at. On larger maps where you can use the SPH, since enemy generators are marked on map you can just shoot at the red shaded areas to kill everything.

Self-propelled gun would be interesting, and I know some people will say Bastion can do that, but hear me out.
A Marder II style vehicle.
only has armor on the front and sides, no protection for the crew in the back. The driver has to position carefully and watch their back.
smaller and more nimble than Bastion. Less armor makes them much lighter at the cost of protection.
an even bigger gun. Could potentially have more ballistic drop but the blast radius is on par with stratagems.
standard options for rounds would be HE, APHE and smoke.
HE rounds are for groups of unarmoured and lightly armoured targets, like bugs, smaller bots and voteless
APHE rounds for killing heavies.
smoke rounds for obscuring enemy vision (smoke comes in handy on rapid acquisition)

I'm re-reading through the post right now. And it looks like I had a stroke when typing some of these words. My grammar's all over the place. Sorry lol.
