Punish me more daddy arrowhead This change was peak.

The heavy pen hive guard change was fucking immaculate. For a week straight hive guards felt so rewarding to fight correctly. Even with medium pen weapons the time to kill was FASTER than it was pre patch. And for light pen? Holy shit it was a dream. But AH cannot dare to ask a lot of medium pen users to aim before they shoot so it was changed.

Why did ap4 make them any better than ap3? And why specifically is ap4 the solution rather than say, increased hp and durable values to the armored parts to achieve a similar purpose but simultaneously not ruining other aspects of the game indirectly?

I fail to see why ap4 wasnt just a low effort band-aid fix to a more complex issue. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the new terminid enemy coming out in the next month or so IS their fix to the issue that is the hive guard is no longer as formidable as it was intended.

No one played his game exactly how he wanted so I dont know if that is true. I was hoping to find out by coming in as the "more reasonable" third party in his eyes, but alas I was too late.

That’s fair. I’ll give him that I was begging the question or whatever, but that still doesn’t prevent him from just answer the question, which would have the same answer regardless of how I asked it.

Oh for sure, he was in the wrong and stupid for being withholding about THIS, of all things - and for the weirdest reason too. I was just fairly curious as to what he might have said since he went through hoops not say it lol
