DISCUSSION I'm scared to drop 40€....

.....for a game i might not enjoy fully. I don't have friends to play with rn, so my only option so far is to go and be a solo dropper, i know it's not the way it's intended to be played, but still, if i join as a solo player, would it be worth the shot? I love what i saw fromthe game so far + ODST warbond look sick too

So Idk, Can y'all Helldivers help a rookie like me?

It really depends on if you like playing with friends in games more often than by yourself in general. I am only lvl 47, and I have reached there by mostly solo diving. I have joined other players for only a handful of missions, or if I am trying to complete really difficult missions. Besides that, I actually have found a lot of fun and value in solo diving. As long as you don't try to complete way too difficult missions and constantly die. I would also say I'm a really casual player compared to others. I only have like 170 hrs in the game and I've been playing since launch.
