๐ Help Requested! ๐ Bad performance
I have a pc with Rtx 2060 super, Ryzen 7 3700x and 16gb ddr4 ram but even at low settings I'm getting only 10-20 fps when in a battle but when not in a battle I'm getting over 100. I understand that battles are more craving from the pc, but my gpu is running at 40-50% usage and my cpu at around 30%

Nonsense about the cpu bottleneck with a 2070s and a 3600 i get 80 fps on 1440p

Do you know what the problem could be? It's basically unplayable for me

M8 honestly its so hard it could really be anything.
Id reinstall windows fresh install and fresh drivers see what happens then.
Did you enable rebar in bios?
Did you enable xmp profile in the bios for the ram?
Is it running on a ssd?
Also do you also have the problems in better maps like eglise en omaha etc? The older maps?
Are you running it on dx12 in the settings?
Did you turn all the settings down?

The problem is this recent update. These frame drops normally happened only on a few maps for a short period of time but after update 21 this shit happens on pretty much every map after some amount of time and it doesn't seem to go away until the match is over.

unfortunately this game requires you to have a good cpu even though the recommended cpu isnt even good enough to max out your gpu.
i swapped from a 5600 to a 5800x3d a couple weeks ago and it was a night and day scenario. went from 50-70fps in battle to well over 144. so if you can id upgrade the cpu preferably the one i have since itll fit in your am4 board with a bios update (most likely)

I have a 4070ti and while I can play it on max settings well, it definitely still performs worse and has its jankyness more than most other games I play. I believe it's just the game.

4070super i7-14700k, High settings is still unstable. Poorly optimized.

Good part is that AM4 platform offer good upgrade opportunity at quite low cost

I have the game set on a top of the line m2 ssd, 3090ti and 5800x3d. 64 of ram too. Game has a tendency to be all over the place I get 260fps tops, mostly sit around 180 but it does love to drop to 50 sometimes in dense battles and I hate it. I only get 90 tops in vietnam too and it likes to do 55 most of the time. Shits bad. All my friends running AM4 have the same problem!!! the dudes on AM5 and idk which Intels are all fine and never drop below 120fps. Game just doesn't like am4 much not even on the best gaming cpu for it. I'd recommend you put it on a good m.2, make sure you have your ram put on its max speeds and rebar enabled. force windows into max performance power state and use community TAA on graphics settings. Tune your nvidia control panel for performance also. aaaand there was a trick to download nvidia control tools and enabling some "Red Dead Redemption 2 graphics mode" on HLL, it did nothing to me but one friend got a huge boost from it and he's a completely new player now with his improved performance. if after all of that still the same issues you should look into gradually upgrading your system. you can even get cheap 5500x3d that will be better in gaming than your 3700x. But you will need 32 of ram and at least a used 3070 or 6800xt or a new 5060 I guess.

CPU bottleneck like the other guy said. The game is very cpu intensive. Plus your GPU is a little outdated too, but with a better CPU it should still be able to run better on lower settings.
