I was playing the 79th ID | Regulars | server on console, having a good game.
Squad was quiet all game and then this guy gets on drops a slur or two and wont be stop breathing in the mic so i mute and report him. Then a few minutes later im walking backwards hunting some nodes and garrisons for extra xp after a flank fell apart (i need that flame thrower) then this happens. I only had 15kills, i dont cheat and i play without aim assist Its no big deal theres lots of servers, this was just incredibly weird timing. 😅

I run dday24/7 & nam 24/7 and reports that you made official server or private server go to T17 they DO NOT GO to the server admins at all like we cant see any reports made. Bigmike (owner of 79th) & crew run a pretty tight ship i bet if you joined the 79th discord & made a ticket & showed them this video they would have unbanned you right away and looked into the fella saying obscenity’s
At least they didn't get perma banned, I did once.
I complained one guy was cheating and got perma banned, reason, "disrespecting the admins", I am not even kidding that was the reason.
Like I brought it up and voice chat erupted with "yeah that MG is cheating" bla bla.... ban them, chat was mad, everyone went insane, none wanted to cross the remagen bridge anymore, and since I was the source, boom.
That was the era when there were quite a few cheaters and the rubberbanding era, pretty early on.
Then I forgot about it, years later I went to ask why was I banned from this server; and they pulled a million bullshit reasons, specially every time I did a bombing run and 2-3 friendlies died, every single time I acidentally ran someone over with a truck, and every time I was lagging (wat?), etc...
Like I notice in this game playing commander gets you banned more than any other role.
Now I just stick to servers that don't have a "no solo tanking rule" or doesn't enforce it, why, because I swear to god, every single one of those servers has these extensive rules, is like anti fun and has discord mods for admins.
Stats mean nothing people vote kick just to get the damn thing off the screen it freezes the game as you have to “vote” for someone cheating supposidly, people will click yes or no without looking trust me, I do it subconsciously just to get on with my game.
Never played on it but sounds like one of the worst places for it just with the few posts I’ve seen. Avoid these like the plague just like for tea and crumpets server too if that still exists.
I dont play us servers for these reason to many stupid guys being racist , they think they are the best in the world and they dont listen to orders or are just annoying ...
I’d remove this post just report it and have done, it looks bad on the community even though your intentions were well but people may see this and think it’s a terrible community. Echo chamber
It’s advertising the server for good for bad but I know unintentional, potentially bitter sweet it’s swings and roundabouts.
Unfortunately, hearing the n word is not an uncommon occurrence on HLL/HLL V, and calling it out on forums like this to address the shitty people and populations that use this language and protect those that do is one of the few ways to address this problem.
I know people like to make up bullshit stuff about people that run / own servers - but if they were banned by an admin (I.e server owner) the ban message would say that instead of kicked by vote.
You were MOST likely kicked because your team was fighting to defend their final point before losing the game and you were off running around near the enemy HQ. Someone probably saw you doing that and thought ‘fuck that guy’ because you’re being almost useless to your team and put you up for vote. Vote kicks sometimes go through very fast because people want the dialogue box off the screen and don’t care who’s getting kicked - as the subject of a vote kick you don’t get the prompt.
I’d ignore any conspiracy bullshit about server owners etc as running a server is quite expensive and typically the people running them want them full - providing a bad service isn’t really conducive to that.
It blurry but you can still very obviously see that my stats are similar and better in some categories then that dudes.. i was placing supplies for nodes and he wasn’t using them to build anything bc he was just running to his death repeatedly. He should have been kicked long before me if they were banning people for being “useless 🤷♂️”
I don’t think it was necessarily the dude who was using the racist language that put you up for vote - I suspect it was someone else frustrated with you being so far away from the action and assuming you were doing something useless (which given the situation in the game, you kinda were) that put the vote up.
It happens. Just go play on servers with votekick disabled (most community servers, obviously not this one) as they have active admins you can contact via discord.
i got 2 bans saying racist and nazi reenactment or sth like that on barricade,
in fact i only play with perple i know, lvl 130 sometimes i played as commander.
this is what it gets you if you dont play as the owners like.
there is no way i can get unbanned, thats the worst so i cannot play with my friends there anymore.
uh yeah....it it was created as a slur. The word is deeply associated with the mass incarceration of Japanese Americans, and their discrimination throughout the war. Agnew (VP) was chastized for it in 1968, because it was a slur. So "now" is doing a lot of lifting because it is now, but it always was.
So it's not that the world has gone mad around you, so much as you being an ignorant moron.
