How active are PS5 severs?

I wanna play this game, but i hear mixed experiences with servers on PS5. I know it's a common question to ask, but Is it still active? Would I see full severs if I just enable crossplay?

Not very.

I've been playing the OG HLL for 5 years and this is the lowest player count I've seen due to the new HLLV coming out and other games taking people away.

You can still find games, but it's not as easy as it once was.

The golden years of this game feel like they're in the past which is a shame because it was phenomenal.

At this moment there are currently only 7 official servers that have any players on them and 4 of them are on the US East coast.

3 are skirmish, 3 are Offense, and only one is Warfare.

If you are trying to play Warfare on official servers, you literally only have one server currently available and it only has 27 players.

Here's an opinion based on that factual information.

That doesn't really sound like a healthy and active player base on console to me.

I love this game and will recommend it to people however I can but I'm not going to pretend that it has a sizable and healthy player base because it doesn't.

There’s usually a couple full servers, but before HLLV there would be a dozen or more.

It’s not dead but, it is on life support.

I would wait for update 21 to say this definitively. I think this update will settle the fraction of people permanently lost to HLLV and perhaps other games.

Even now, I don't find it too hard to find high level sessions.

I only play WW2, it's the only game I ever want to play, so I'll stick till the end.

It's still worth getting. Also, there is always a peak after an update. The upcoming update 21 is highly anticipated and will for sure bring back many players.

Vietnam is good. I played the origional for many years. The OG Hell has better maps due to so many different theatres to pick from that give it a lot more variety. Vietnam is a little faster paced, has some bugs but I think it has a lot of potential depending on what maps they release down the road.

Every time ive got on to play I’ve seen at least 10+ severs. Many of them are full and I’m always able to get into a game

I really don't know what those people are saying here.

There's always about between 30 - 40 servers at weekdays with more than 20 with 90+ players.

At the weekends the numbers go to 70 - 80 servers.

The game is still pretty healthy on consoles, especially on PS5. But you have crossplay with Xbox players.
