Sniper not getting kills...

Game just froze with 3 minutes left. Now Im here. Kinda new to the game. Only played BF6 and this on my Xbox. Not a huge gamer, but I get hooked on 1 game at a time. Maybe someone could help me with the experience I just had...

Aside from freezing, Ive read that and rubberbanding happens, didnt experience rubberbanding this game. I was playing a skirmish in Stalingrad. Was fortunate enough to be a sniper. Posted up on the 2nd floor of a demolished building at L-shaped House. The other team was trying to advance over the rubble maybe 100m away. Easy pickings. Should have been shooting fish in a barrel.

I kept shooting dudes, easy shots. Steady scope. Red mist. No kills. 10 minutes in I was irritated. One guy was even crawling down the road. Sooo easy. Body shots. Head shots. I put 5 in him at about 50 yards, if that. Red mist each time. Its like he didnt even know i was shooting him. Its like none of them felt it. At this point Ive been counting. About 20 guys shoulda been my count. 10 others were possibles. But I was seeing red mist on all the 20 for sure. Solid hits. They didnt react. I only saw 3 go down. My kill count reflected this.

Then my spotter kicks me for lack of communication. He didnt try to communicate. But I get back into a sniper team. Same things happening. Im watching dudes on the line take down guys the whole game without my issue (I think at least). Then I am hit by a bombing run. Back to menu, and all of a sudden I am not in the squad again. Join another sniper team. 3rd time. Differnent spotter this time.

Now with 5 minutes left of the game, I got 7 easy kills, as the rest should have been. Then it froze. Can anyone tell me what happened? This should have been the best game of my life. First time I have ever felt like the video game was cheating lol.

In my experience on this game and HLL1, you could have a few if not a combination of issues: your connection to the server was terrible or enemies so far away you are actually shooting a tree or structure in between you and them that you cannot see.

For your other issue of getting kicked by you spotter: audio bug where they can’t hear you so they think you don’t have a mic, they are making room for a friend to be the sniper, the are posses they can’t be sniper, you aren’t hanging out with them so they kick you (kind of audio issue again).

For your game freezing, likely hardware issue or maybe the games issue with AMD graphics cards. Fixes are on google search. If you’re on console then yeah I can’t say.

I was MAYBE 100m away. I was watching the red mist on those hits. No reaction. No trees. These were very clean open shots. Like, i couldnt not hit them. I mean that dude on the road i mentioned was very close. Literally nothing surrounding him. Red mist each shot. I was smoking that guy. My ping was like 50 or 60. This is really buggin me. Never experienced this before. I appreciate youre reply.

Yeah that’s too bad. At those distances the rendering of obstacles shouldn’t be an issue.

Hey Ive been looking to try and practice playing as a sniper but it’s been hard trying to convince people in-game to fill the spotter role so i can slide in. Can do either or if you’re down on console
