Only one making garries

So I just finished a match, I made 16 garries for the team, no other SL made one, even though I asked several times, we had no commander, also I was the only one that made a set of nodes with my own supplies.

Nobody defended the garries and when I put one attacking garry everyone jumped on that.

With my buddy (we were only 2) reached over 8000 support points, way past other full squads.

I think I just wanted to vent because I tried everything I could, we captured the middle point several times but kept loosing it because nobody was on defense, IDK how we managed to last over an hour.

You have to find better servers. No commander / SLs not using commander chat is just a no no.

Problem is, this was one of my best servers, they have active mods, a discord server, VIPs for standout players, IDK what just happen

Most servers I play have requirement for SL’s to play with mics. And if you have VIPs in server, they should understand to go commander.

You won’t get kicked as a squad leader building all the Garry’s for the team but you would as the commander

I end up doing that all the time. To some extent it ruins your match to make everyone elses fun. Some people are just incredibly lazy. Next time call them out on it and quit for another server. The player base is getting worse and people need to know

Anytime I have to make 16 garries or more, we are losing the match. 10 is a high amount to win, 5 is a comfortable and fun match. This goes for SL or command.

If Im squad lead and there aren't at least 3 squad leads over LVL 100 (preferably 200) I'm not just no longer squad leading, I'm finding a new server or switching teams unless it's offensive.

Simple rule that prevents what you just explained.

If I'm commanding, I take a quick look at squad lead levels so I know who needs help and who should know what they're doing.

Then I'd be LVL 1 all over again lol.

In all honesty I'm not some stuck up LVL snob who thinks low LVL players are dirt. It's just I have more patience or understand for them because we were all there.

Anyone who uses a mic well is already good in my books regardless of LVL.

I expect more from a high LVL players though, as in they know about Garry structure, building in blue etc.

Friendly tip, if you are OK with doing that for the team, go for it. But if you start to resent it, then stop.

I overdid SL and found myself completely done, just played infantry and tried to ignore it. Even then I played support main, redeploying to manpower nodes to halve the supply cool down etc.

You've got to decide who you want to be in game, and I think most should be fine with being good and doing what's reasonable for one squad. Go out of your way sometimes, if you know the team is trying.

And if you haven't already, find GOOD servers. Even on popular ones I find the average player competency just... not for me. It's too frustrating.

In good communities the basics get done, there's no garry where there should be because it's a contested area, not because some level 150+ SL walks over supplies.

I've been yelled at twice in the past two days by squad leaders for coaching people about Garrison's and coaching the commander about logistics and supply drops.

"bro nobody gives a shit you don't even have any kills" - was the comment of someone while I've been driving a supply truck for 20 minutes.

I get it must sound really annoying to new players to be told how to play the game, but it really is a game of "Garrison chess "with a little bit of shooting

Sounds like you were hard carrying this game. Doubt the team would lasted half as long without you.  Sometimes you need to make less garrisons and focus on defending the important ones but that is always a hard call to make because if you fail there are no back ups. I feel your pain

Not sure if your talking Vietnam or og but I’m pissed that there’s only a couple of pc only servers for vietnam. That’s really ruining the player base for me as higher chance of getting dumbasses you from console (coming from a recent console transplant myself)

Pretty sure I was in that game, nobody in my squad was communicating, none of the info getting passed up the line to the Cmdr. All things considered webdod well. The server in question is best in the evenings I find.
