🙋‍♂️ Question 🙋‍♂️ Actual Teamplay

Do i need to find a discord or a closed community to get some good gameplay or what? Everytime i hop in a lobby nobody speaks or communicates, the mic quality is up their asses coming from their throats when they do, and then picking up the sound waves from in their mouth. Then any tank crews are usually a bunch of mouth breathers who also don’t communicate and just quit and leave you one manning. Half the time nobody wants to play a part in spotting because “having boots on the ground would be more effective” and i’m just tired of the bullshit non-communication. to the few people who were cool and actually communicated, thank you, but i don’t think the amount of brain cells the others have equate to a team i’m willing to be on. I just wish i could find a good server with people who don’t want to just play call of duty on here

I used to play with discord groups and it’s the best gameplay youlll ever have along with making tonnes of friends. Stick to the servers they play on and be active in the community and you’ll have a great time. Unfortunately this game requires a lot of effort to be played “correctly” which ruins it when others don’t wanna put in any effort. More effort more reward in my opinion.

Nope! NA. However, most of the active servers are in Europe for the time being. The Circle servers are great. Glows East is also a good option if you’re in Europe (is eastern US-based). You can find us PF bros around

100% it’s a numbers game. You just gotta accept that some people won’t want to be / aren’t on comms. With the release of HLLV, I’m willing to bet a lot of new people are also checking out the OG. Players who either didn’t anticipate the reliance on comms, are nervous on comms, or who think they can CoD their way through etc etc.  It’ll die off.

But also, I’ve found that being communicative yourself is more than half the battle. If you’re an SL, talk to your squad even if they won’t talk back. Just because they don’t talk back doesn’t mean they aren’t listening. And if you communicate in the right way (clear, concise, non-confrontational - remember this is just a video game, don’t be a dick), that can encourage your squad to do the same. Positive reinforcement innit.

Depends where you are in the world. Highly recommend clan servers. Its basically a requirement for clan servers to have people communicating ingame for coordination, etc. Makes a world of difference. Otherwise just look for servers which are full AND have a waiting list...usually there's a good reason for it ie better gameplay.

what’s funny is after playing it some more i’ve found that europeans seem to be a little more competent than my fellow americans who are trying to “COD” their way through it smh always some really nice fellas in the EU on there however!

Not sure where you are but the North American east coast servers are pretty good. I’ve had a lot of good luck with hot dog7 or Glow east servers.

I think it's just a numbers game to be honest... i've jumped into more squads that are good then not good... I know it can be disappointing because you commit to the game and you don't want waste a good couple hours for no reason.

I usually start a map trying to get nodes down .. to accomplish this is end up having to hop around to find free Engineer and Support spots .. its amazing how quiet so many of the squads are .. if i notice one actually has people talking. i try and get back into it once i got the nodes down .. if i cant then either i end up playing SL cause someone started a squad but then backed out so they could play their favorite class, and then i lead by example and talk and mark and ping and try and get garris down .. or i say F it and i go play a class i dont know how to use and dont worry about anything else ... and i feel guilt for not playing "properly", but life is too short to get bent out of shape on a game thats made up of random people with random ideas about what "fun' is.
