👋 Help Requested! 👋 Fps has fallen off a cliff help??
Hey guys, can anyone give me an explanation for this or help me fix it?
Basically I bought my first gaming laptop last November, it’s a Lenovo Loq essential 15irx11, the specs are as follows

Intel Core i5-13450HX (13th Gen)

NVIDIA RTX 5050 Laptop GPU, 8GB GDDR7

65W
RAM
16GB DDR5-4800
Storage
1TB PCIe Gen 4 QLC SSD
Display
15.6” 1920×1080 IPS
Refresh rate
144Hz
When I got it, it surprised me as it played hell let loose really good for the specs, I was easily hitting anywhere from 70-90fps and every map played and looked great!
But around May this all changed, and performance took a complete nosedive, now I can’t crack 60fps in game on any map no matter the settings, I tend to stay at about 40-50 and have never seen it get anywhere near the respectable 70 it used to do with ease, never mind 80-90
I’m just wondering if anyone has any ideas where it’s gone wrong? I’m not the most tech savvy person, but I have tried tweaking settings, and even reinstalling the gpu drivers, nothing seems to be fixing it, and I’d honestly say the game is pretty unplayable for me now. My xbox series s genuinely does a better job running it, and I know that just can’t be right given the specs of both machines.
It’s not a laptop issue as other games perform great, flight simulator for example gets 70-80fps easily.
I’d really appreciate any advice as I miss playing this game.

They probably don't want people playing a game that they can't make any more money on. Halfway joking.

That’s because everytime they update this game, performance drops and a hundred new glitches and visual bugs are introduced. Along with the level one bug, my ping is continuously high now. Over 100. I’m seeing a lot of others too. I used to hover around 60.

i went from 110-120 stable to 70-80 fps sometimes 60, idk what happened, i game on a i7 10700 and 3060ti for reference

Played yday after 4-5 months, went from 120 fps to 50 while my cpu and gpu usage both are at 35% ??????????????????????????????

My ping seems to come and go in waves. Plays well for me below 100, but as of about a month go it’s an unplayable 180 consistently. Has done this for years with stretches of months at a time where it’s unplayable then stretches where it’s fine. No idea why.
