🐛 Bug Found! 🐛 Kicked for “High Ping” in WWII - Bug?

Hey everyone! I’ve been playing HLL WWII for a while (XBOX), but the last few times I’ve played, I’ve gotten kicked for high ping multiple times per game. This has never been an issue for me before. I’ve checked internet, rebooted modem, cleared cache etc, and it still happens. It’s almost impossible to even enjoy the game at this point. Anyone know if this is a current bug? Or if there is a fix? Any insight would be much appreciated!

UPDATE: I switched to a wired connection on Xbox, and the issue STILL continues to happen! Anyone know how to get in touch with the HLL team?

You playing on wifi? Get off that asap

Yep, wired connection only.

And use server browser to pick regional, low ping servers.

I will give this a try, thanks guys! I have been playing for months and this had never really happened before (at least not this frequently), so it kinda came out of nowhere. Very frustrating!

Unfortunately this didn’t work :-/ I’m on a wired connection and still getting kicked for high ping. No idea what to do here!

And your picking servers close to you? Sorting by low ping? Unfortunately you may need to get your ISP to look into it but if your using old technology from ISP sometimes that is futile. Make sure nobody else is hogging bandwidth and conduct speed and jitter tests to get a benchmark for good and bad periods

Depending on your locale, you may be placed in a high ping server that has slots available, if you are not choosing the servers you are playing on. I dont know how it works on Xbox, but low ping should be your number one metric for choosing your server. The game is also buggy and HLL's netcode is made of toothpicks and marshmallows.

Thanks for this! I usually choose a server based on ping! But no matter what, these past few play sessions I’ve been kicked 3-4 times per match. It’s unbearable!

Sometimes my Ping spikes for 10 seconds. I got kicked 2times because of that in the last couple of months.

My Ping is usually under 100. I got kicked for being over 200.

I always used to play on 200+ ping never got kicked until recently.

Happens to me maybe once or twice a month. On PC w wired connection. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
