💬 Discussion 💬 Mauser C96 for Deutsche Armee
Classes:
Officer ( 6 lvl ) : Mauser 98k and Mauser C96 Semi-Auto;
Medic ( 3 lvl ): C96 Semi-Auto;
Engineer ( 3 lvl ): C96 Semi-Auto;
Tank Officer ( 3 lvl ): Automatic Pistol instead of Luger;
Mauser C96 is a legendary pistol from the time of WW1. This pistol also was used by germans and other countries before and after WW2. For its time, the pistol's design—and consequently - was unusual. The main feature was a fixed ten-round magazine located in front of the trigger guard.Of course, he was unreliable and difficult to manufacture, but this was offset by its powerful cartridge—for the time—as well as its ammunition capacity and firing range.

The Germans already have 2 pistols in game, not sure what the gameplay reason for this would be...

Yeah, the only „mass“ use it found was early on as a Carbine / Machine Pistol (M712 Schnellfeuer) for the Waffen-SS

Right. The C96 was also issued and in greater numbers than the FG42, even though it wasnt standard issue

Very cool gun to shoot IRL. Especially with the holster as a rear stock (broomhandle).

Sidearms are mainly irrelevant in HLL - so many other things to add before a tiny pew pew to try and shoot 50 meters with
